Villa Shasta, between thermal baths and villages

The lovely house, surrounded by some oaks and roses, is close to the city center (It's easy to reach Viterbo by car) but in a quiet private place. It's composed by two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a large kitchen. It is fully furnished with a dishwasher, a washing machine, stove, micro, oven etc. free WiFi. There is a big furnished garden with deck-chairs, tables, bbq and a swimmingpool. There is a private parking shared with the owner of the house who lives downstairs. Viterbo is a very nice Etruscan Origin city, it has a medieval centre dating back to the XIII century with beautiful towers, walls, and fountains. Viterbo was the residence of the Pope in the XIV century, so it preserves the important Papal Palace. Thanks to the presence of sulphuric thermal springs boasting the best water, there are many hot spring baths in Viterbo, the private "Terme dei Papi", or the private "Terme Vita Spa" and the public one "Bagnaccio" The landscape, passing over hills cultivated with olive trees and grape vines, descends sweetly from the modest heights of the Cimini, Volsini, and Sabatini Mountains, which are covered with forests of chestnuts, oak, beech, and hornbeam trees, to the coastal area of Maremma, clothed with the lush mantle of the Mediterranean vegetation. Many restaurants, stores, horseback riding, hiking, tennis, golf, windsurf and many activities are available not far from there. It is one hour and a Half away from Rome. The sea is 40 km away, and there are three lakes, the Vico Lake 8 km away and Bolsena and Capodimonte Lake 20 km away, with its two small beautiful islands. There are a lot of particular towns like Civita di Bagnoregio, situated on a clay hill with a church built in 1400, Bomarzo (30 km from Viterbo) with its "Parco Dei Mostri", Caprarola with his beautifull Farnese Palace and Bagnaia with "Villa Lante" one of the most famose renaissance Italian Garden in Italy. "La Tuscia" where Viterbo is collocated is very important for the Etruscan Culture. You can visit a lot of Etruscan sites as Tarquinia, Tuscania, Cerveteri and Vulci; our area is rich of them. The city is well located and it’s very simple to make several excursions in the vicinity of Umbria ,Campania and Tuscany. We are really closed to many little town in Tuscany like Montalcino, Montepulciano, Siena or Pienza and closed to a lot of village in Umbria like Orvieto,Todi and Perugia. Florence and Naples are 170 km away as well. You need a car.
