Train station is a 5 min walk, and trains go every 30 mins to Henley-on-Thames (5 mins) and London Paddington (43 mins via A change at Twyford). 15 min drive (20min train) to Reading Car, train (5 mins to Henley, 21 mins to Reading, 43 mins to Paddington) Once here, its so easy to walk (30 mins) or cycle (10-15 mins) to Henley and the the surrounding pubs and villages. Shiplake regularly features in the Telegraph's list of most desirable villages to live. The 2020 Visit England Gold Award-winning pub (the Baskerville) is at the end of the road. alongside a butcher shop and the village corner stores with daily deliveries of locally-made bread and pastries.
