Lovely Farmhouse in Peaceful Surroundings
1, Chez Boulet is a beautiful rural farmhouse on the edge of the picturesque village of Bioussac. Five kilometres from the town of Ruffec, where all essential amenities can be found, and a similar distance to the stunning towns of Nanteuil-en-Vallée, with its pretty stone and timber houses and beautiful Abbey, and Verteuil with its magnificent castle and beautiful water mill. Both villages offer a number of quaint bars, restaurants and shops. All guests have full, private use of the upstairs space, comprising of two bedrooms, bathroom and a dining area with kettle, fridge and microwave. Guests also have use of the gardens, garden furniture and BBQ. Guests will have key to private access through the garden to the rear of the property. We will generally be on hand to offer advice and recommendations but will respect your privacy during your stay. Bioussac is just minutes from the Charente river dotted with restaurants, woodland walks and if you want something a little more exhilarating....there's always kayaking! A collection of large sculptures by Antony Gormley, Andy Goldsworthy, Christian Lapie and Joel Shapiro is just across the road at the Park and Garden De L'Abrègement. Bioussac is about 10 minutes from the N10, a main arterial route through South West France, and an hour's drive from Limoges airport. The local town of Ruffec has a railway station with trains to Poitiers and Angoulême - both stops on the high speed TGV line. Chez Boulet is situated on the edge of Bioussac, a quiet French village with an eleventh century church at its heart.
