The Granary is a cosy traditional stone cottage that has been newly renovated in 2019. The Granary sleeps 4. Located in the pretty quiet welsh countryside but just 5 drive minutes from the former market town of Narberth with its array of independant shops and restaurants and 10 minutes drive from the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast at Amroth and Wisemans Bridge. 20 minutes to Tenby. Attractions such as Folly Farm and Heatherton world of adventure to name but a few are also within easy access. It is bright and modern space with an open plan kitchen / lounge area on the ground floor with log burning stove. The Granary has radiators throughout that are heated from our wood pellet biomass boiler, providing a cosy retreat on even the most soggy of welsh winter days. The kitchen comes complete with fridge freezer, electric cooker and hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is also a dining table and chairs with window seat where you can sit and enjoy the south facing view of your own private patio area and attractively planted flower bed. The lounge area has a Smart TV, log burning stove, sofa and arm chair. There is also direct access through the french doors to the private patio at the rear. At the front of the property is a seperate porch/boot area. On the first floor there are two bedrooms: Bedroom one - Has a King size bed, built in wardrobe with hanging rail and attractive window seat. Bedroom two - Has two 2ft 6" single beds that can be used as two singles or Zip linked to provide a King size bed if preferred. (Please state preference on booking). There is also space in this room for an additional campbed for an extra child if required. The bathroom is a newly installed white suite with heated towel rail, shower over bath and sink with mirror and shaver socket. We are happy to allow guest to bring 1 well behaved dog with them, but ask that dogs do not go upstairs in the Granary. Outside: To the front is the parking area, a large area of lawn and a path leading up to the front door and a patio area which allows you to make the most of the afternoon sun. There is access around the side to the private rear patio area which is south facing and a real sun trap in the height of summer. An outdoor table and chairs are provided. We have 2 acres of paddock which include a natural pond and tree swing. We are happy for guests to use the field for games or to exercise their dog but ask that parents/guardians are responsible for their children around the pond and on the tree swing in particular as we can not be held responsible for any injuries. Thank you. We allow one dog per booking, we ask that dogs remain on the ground floor, a stair gate is provided. Dogs are not to be left unattended in The Granary. We can provide details of local kennels if you do want to go out for the day without your pet. Thank you. The Granary is detached with its own parking area, front and rear patio areas and garden area to the front of the property. Our property is located next door to the Granary but distant enough to allow privacy for our guests. We are happy to answer any questions you have about the area and welcome guest to come and ask us any questions during their stay. We have 2 acres of paddock and field complete with pond and tree swing and you are welcome to utilise these areas at your own risk. Our own garden is fenced off for our own private use (and to contain our friendly dog). We are peacefully located in the countryside but have very easy access to amenities and fantastic beaches. The perfect spot to relax and enjoy a break. There are train stations at Whitland and Narberth. Buses are available from Narberth and Tavernspite, but do not run directly past the Granary. There are so many lovely walks and cycling in the area to explore. During peak season we are taking 7 night bookings only. With Friday check ins. Please message us if you require a different check in day/length of stay and we will see what we can do. Thank you Saturday 28th June 2021 - The Tenby long course weekend is on. The road outside The Granary will be closed to traffic from 8am - 4pm on this day due to the cycle race. Sunday 12th September 2021- Tenby Ironman. The road outside The Granary will be closed to traffic from 8am - 4pm on this day due to the cycle race. It is great fun to watch though.
