Leschenault Estuary Cottage

Nicely tucked away and yet only few minutes drive to all amenities, beaches and estuary The Estuary Cottage is on an acre block of land separate to the main house and has its own driveway and entry. It is on the hills sloping down to the estuary in the bushy country 10 minutes drive to the main shopping centres in Australind. If you enjoy crabbing or canoeing the water edge is just a 3 minute drive or a 10 minute walk trough the bush. There are miles of great bush walks with awesome wildlife experiences. Kangaroos grazing with the horses and sheep in the paddocks and all sorts of parrots and possums come daily for a snack and water. The cottage is a cosy two good size bedroom unit and a living area with a fully equipped kitchen. The veranda is in a wonderful position to view the bush and wildlife with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. The house is about 20 years old but clean and has only recently been newly furnished. Shower, Laundry with a separate toilet are compact but sufficient. The reverse cycle air-conditioned provides comfort for summer and winter and has a fireplace for an additional warm atmosphere. We love it out here because nature, fresh country air and tranquillity gives you the space to enjoy, relax and explore, yet only a short run into the city of Bunbury. It is an excellent base for exploring the south west with all its beauty. Lawns and gardens which include some playground equipment such as swingset are accessible to our guests. Children require to be supervised at all times. We live next door and are there when you need us and not when you don't. The neighbourhood is friendly but hardly noticeable as the distances between the properties are large enough to grant the privacy for a relaxed holiday. You require your own transport as there is no public transport other than taxi. Surrounding properties will be active to maintain gardens trees and firebreaks. Activities may occasionally involve the use of garden equipment such as mowers etc. causing noticeable noise.
