Suite Romantic Bocciola - apartment

The apartment "Suite Romantic Bocciola" boasts an amazing location on the eastern hills of Lake Orta: from your private terrace you'll enjoy stunning views over the Lake, the Island S. Giulio and the majestic Mount Rosa. All around the house there are lush gardens and romantic old dwellings! The Lake is only a 10 minute drive from here (2 nice public beaches). Bars and shops at walking distance: there's even a nice Café right next to your house! The apartment Suite Romantic Bocciola has a surface of 50 square metres + a panoramic, well furnished terrace of 12 square metres. Recently renovated, it has got a large room with kitchen, dining table, sofa, armchair and a large bookcase with many books in different languages: you'll find there some good guidebooks for this region (what's worth visiting or buying). From the living room you'll enjoy an amazing view of the lake and its verdant hills (Mount Rosa as well!)... and sunsets are wonderful from here! The only bedroom (twin room or double, according to your needs) looks over the backyard and quiet and well kept private gardens. WI FI service is included. The Romantic Bocciola apartment is located in a recently fully renovated old house with a total of 8 apartments. There's a large parking space just outside the gate and a verdant garden with exclusive use of the guests/owners. An area for separate waste collection is at your disposal as well. My husband Albert and I work as licensed tour and hiking local Guides throughout the good season (March-October). Anyway, whatever you need we'll be at you disposal. On working days we're generally free after 6pm. The village of Vacciago/Vacciaghetto is one of the most enchanting ones on Lake Orta. The best mansions and gardens are here, most of them dating back to the 17th-18th centuries! With a short walk from your apartment you'll find the most panoramic site of this area: the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Bocciola (hence the name!), with its scenic open square from which you enjoy spectacular, expansive views across Lake Orta and its surrounding mountains. The best way to visit Lake Orta is with you own car/motorbike. Public transportation system and services are not as efficient as they should be. Private taxis are few and expensive. The nearest airport is Milano Malpensa, about a 45 minute drive. The nearest Railway station is "Orta-Miasino", which is about 2,5 km away (line Novara-Domodossola well served). The Railway Station of Arona (line Milan-Stresa-Domodossola), on Lake Maggiore, is a 35 min. drive: from Milan you get to Arona in 50 min. (Taxi service at arrival). The perfect location of the apartment allows you to reach the best cultural sites on Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore in a few minutes by car. If you like walking you'll find miles of scenic tracks starting right from here! Walking, Nordic walking, swimming, mountain biking and horse-riding are possible. A large and well equipped Swimming-pool is easily reachable in 5 minutes! You'll be given all the information you need at your arrival! You can do the shopping on foot at the local Grocer's or reach the nearest Supermarket in 8 minutes by car (open at weekends).
