Outstanding harbour and sea views

I am the lucky owner of Fisherman's House, set in the historic and quaint village of Polperro. Fisherman's is perched directly above the harbour with fantastic views of the fishing boats, harbour activity and the ever changing sea. It makes a great base for coastal walks and the local beaches. The house is charming; airy and light; warm and cosy in the winter months. Having bought Fisherman's in Nov 20 we are upgrading the beds, bedding and furniture and will update the house pictures. The second bedroom, king size bed, can be made into two 2' 6" singles as you require. The house has everything you could want for a comfortable stay, including electric heating throughout and underfloor heating to the hallway and bathroom. There is a log burner for cosy winter evenings. Smaller important details are included - e.g. a cool bag for picnics, a cafetiere for good coffee, fishing rods and buckets and spades for the kids! There is a utility room, off the second bedroom, with a washer and drier. The kitchen has a small dishwasher. You have free run of the house. I live away from the property half of my time but I have an excellent house manager whose details are provided in the arrival instructions. I am very happy to be contacted for any questions you might have about your booking, your stay, the house or the area. Fisherman's House is set in a special place. Waking up to harbour life, the sea view and the village is as relaxing as it gets. You are right next door to the beach and the Blue Peter pub, where you are always guaranteed a warm welcome, great food, Cornish beer and and live music through the weekend. If you can tear yourself away there are coast boat trips and walks and local places of interest that make for many happy memories. There is a local tram service that takes you up and back from the car park for a fee. You can also hire a luggage service, but book ahead. The streets are narrow, so there is little traffic right on the harbour. The coast path in both directions is stunning! Fisherman's is situated a leisurely 12 minute walk from the car park at the top of the village. The house is accessed via the stone steps of the coast path up from the harbour. Few places on the quay have a private outdoor area, but we love to take a coffee to the little public seating area above the beach and cave or up on to the cliff, both of which are very close and have unsurpassed views of the harbour and out to sea.
