Miliou Villa is a beautiful stone built holiday home situated in the Miliou valley, nestling amongst the citrus groves, almond trees and vineyards with views to the mountains and unspoiled countryside making it an ideal destination for those who love nature. The interior is spacious and lovingly designed with traditional wooden beams and antique furniture and sleeps 6 guests (plus 1 infant). There are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large first floor terrace with far reaching views, a fully equipped kitchen and living room with fireplace that opens out to the secluded garden. Outside is a Jacuzzi (hot tub) and private pool with sun loungers for relaxing and as the light fades the pool is floodlit, there is also an attractive dining area with a stone-built barbecue for fun filled evenings with family and friends. Miliou is one of the smallest villages in Cyprus with a population of about 60 which has been awarded with a "Green Award" for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. It is one of the greenest villages in the area, thanks to an abundant supply of spring water, surrounded by citrus groves, almond trees and vineyards and in early spring the almond blossom is a spectacular sight and the orange and lemon trees are laden with fruit. With far-reaching mountain and valley views and unspoiled countryside, Miliou is a delightful rural setting, perfect for long walks and for those who love nature and bird watching as the village is renowned as a nesting site for nightingales, the main bird migrations when a wide variety of species may be seen take place in spring and autumn. If you’re more interested in seeing Mother Nature’s spectacular show of spring flowers, then visit between the beginning of March and the end of May. The aroma of the surrounding pine and lemon groves, brought in by the cool valley breeze provides relief from the hot Cypriot sun. In the same village, Ayii ANargyri - Natural Healing Spa Resort can be found, a medical spa resort and one of its kind with natural healing sulphur spring waters, the treatments are magical. It can also be visited for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee or wine and drinks. The nearest supermarket to Miliou is approximately 4 km and the beaches, tavernas, market and shops of Polis and Latchi are a 15 minute drive and another few minutes will take you to the edge of the Akamas peninsula. The Troodos Mountains and the Paphos forest (home of the moufflon, the island's indigenous mountain sheep) are close by and Paphos airport is a 45-minute drive.
