Five Bees Bush Retreat Guest House

This luxurious guest house is nestled amongst trees with a stunning view over the surrounding bush valley. Situated in the leafy and hilly suburb of Glenhaven, you feel like you're in the middle of the Australian bush, yet are still close to shops, restaurants, train station and other amenities. There is a private deck off the bedroom where you can enjoy breakfasts or sundowners (weather permitting). The property is situated apart from the main residence and has a separate and private entrance. It's a perfect space for a romantic weekend getaway, for a stopover before heading into the great beyond, or for a business traveller seeking a peaceful retreat with home comforts away from the hubbub of the city. Native wildlife abounds on our property - colourful parrots, possums, brush turkeys and the occasional wallaby. We also have beehives and chickens on the property, which provide us with fresh honey and eggs. High quality bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided. In the small kitchen nook breakfast provisions are also provided- home made granola muesli, yoghurt, assorted bread, honey from our own beehives, orange juice, a variety of teas and ground coffee. Please note - there are NO cooking facilities, only reheat in microwave. Please notify us of any dietary requirements/food allergies at time of booking. Private off street parking is available if travelling by car. Alternatively, a 10 minute walk away the bus takes you to the centre of Castle Hill suburb with it's shopping mall, all amenities, and bus/metro into the city. Access to the adjoining studio and piano is available on request. A complimentary bottle of wine is included for stays of 4 or more nights. We will try to be there to welcome our guests and make sure they are settled in. Guests are welcome to contact us during the stay if any need arises, but we respect their privacy. Our residence is 50 steps down below the guest house. Glenhaven is a peaceful and leafy suburb approx 45 minutes from the Sydney CBD, and we are close to the new North West Metro (closest station Hills Showground). There is a bus service 10 min by foot from our guesthouse to Castle Hill. Here you can do shopping at Castle Towers or take the Metro or bus to the city and then to the airport. There are excellent coffee shops within 10-20 minutes walking distance. On Mon - Wed afternoons during school terms only, music tuition will take place in the adjacent studio room. During this time the lounge/waiting room and bathroom may be shared. The rate is therefore reduced on these days. On weekends guests have the whole space to themselves.
