Big DBL room,city centre,private bathroom
Cosy double room in large Victorian house located in the lovely St.James area. You will have access on the same floor to your own private bathroom. Just a quick walk away from the shops and restaurants and train station. A minute's walk to the river and fields. This is a cosy private room with a very comfy double bed in a shabby chic house. There is a huge wardrobe for storage and tea/coffee making facilities. There is another double room available (also on airbnb). Not always advertised so please ask. This may suit if you have friends and family. The full house (3 bedrooms) is available throughout the school holidays. Also I don't iron sheets but rest assured all linen is sparkly clean. There is a private bathroom with a bath and shower on the same floor, with fresh towels provided. I will leave fresh towels in the chest of drawers if you are staying a long time. Also, I will leave your room to you, unless you request me to attend to it. Please note that other room is available if you would like friends or family to stay. I am very flexible. There is wifi access across the whole house. This is a non-smoking house but you are welcome to smoke outside. If you are bringing bikes we have a shed you can lock them in. I have a visitor's pass so free parking in the city centre! I can be around to chat and answer your questions. However if you just go up to your room I won't be offended. I have a key lock on the wall so you can let yourselves in. I'll be around most evenings to answer any questions you might have, but I'll be respectful of your privacy and just let you get on with it. I will also leave out local information In term time I go out to work quite early. Please make yourself at home! The house is in the heart of the wonderful St.James area. Very close to Hereford Cathedral and the charming Church Street dotted with independent shops and quirky cafes. Fifteen minutes away is the new shopping area complete with Odean Cinema, Waitrose, Prezzo and Wagamamas etc. Just beyond it is The Courtyard Centre for the Arts, a wonderful theatre that often has live music and independent films. 20 minutes walk to the bus and train stations and a 5 minute walk to the hospital. If you are bringing a car you'll be given a visitor's pass to park anywhere in this area. Parking can be competitive, sometimes you have to park a few streets away. Local busses can take you across the county, including Ledbury and Hay-on-Wye. Train connections to Ludlow, Worcester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff and beyond... but the fantastic thing about this area is you can walk to most places in the city. 1 night minimum stay
