Bungalow in beautiful North Yorkshire village, childhood home of Captain James Cook situated on the edge of North Yorkshire Moors Short drive to many places of beauty. Popular with walkers and cyclists Market town of Stokesley 2 miles away Access and use of large garden Guests are responsible for their own, their children’s and their pets safety at all times Entrance to bungalow accessible at all time via key safe - code on request Hosts available in person or by phone No smoking in bungalow Self contained bungalow. Large double bedroom with TV, overlooking large garden. Living room with TV/BluRay/DVD and selection of BluRay and DVD discs and SKY TV. Sofa in living room converts to a double bed. All bedding and towels provided. WiFi throughout. Electric fire in living room. Central heating with thermostatic radiators throughout. Large wet room/shower with easy access. Shower gel, shampoo, soap and toilet rolls provided. Fitted kitchen with electric oven, 4 burner gas hob, washing machine, pots and pans, cutlery. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and bread provided. Further items can be purchased on request. Pets welcome - dog towels located in unit in hallway. The bungalow is protected with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Fire extinguisher and fire blanket situated in kitchen. Off street parking on large driveway. Access to the bungalow is via a keysafe. Wheelchair accessible, threshold ramp available on request (prior notice will be required for ramp and shower stool). Guests are welcome to use the large garden (weather permitting). Smoking not allowed in bungalow. Use of vape/e-cigarettes permitted inside. There is usually someone on site and we have a stand in host if we are away. Please telephone or message/text us if you require any help throughout your stay. Situated on the outskirts of the village, sprawling countryside and moors, close to amazing little villages and superb coastal resorts like Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Steeped in history. Famous for Petch butchers pork pies, Suggitts ice cream and childhood home of Captain James Cook There is a bus service, a train station and several local taxi firms.
