'The Coach House' 8-10 guests with private pool

This family friendly, very spacious, open plan cottage is the old coach house for a beautiful Château. Built in the 19th century and set in 8 hectares of parkland in the rolling countryside bordering Dordogne, it's a very tranquil place with lovely walking on the doorstep and many attractions nearby. A private pool, outdoor covered terrace and large garden make it perfect for family groups and great for children. The cottage is extremely spacious and very light. You have everything you need for a great stay, including a well equipped kitchen, barbeque and board games. The pool is for sole use by the guests of this cottage and there are ample pool loungers and outdoor seating for relaxing outside. Inside the large dining table means this property is suited to large family groups. An extra full sized single bed can be added to the generously sized second bedroom and a cot can also be provided if needed. We know what it's like to travel with small children and can provide many items of baby/small child equipment from potties and steps to small cutlery to make your holiday enjoyable for all the family. The owners live in the Chateau with their children, dogs, cat and horses. Guests are welcome to use the footpaths in the grounds of the chateau or picnic by the lake. We are set in stunning countryside and you have immediate access to footpaths for walking from the property. There are many activities in the local area-horse riding, wine tasting and pleasure lakes to name a few. We are in an ideal location to explore the history, culture and gastronomie of the area as we are a short drive away from many of the historic bastide towns where you will find charming squares, shops and a choice of excellent restaurants.
