Boxy's Croft is a self contained cottage with stunning views of Loch Ness a mile from the picturesque village of Drumnadrochit. The options for outdoor activities are endless with walks & bike rides from the front door. Glen Affric is 14 miles away and Ullapool and the Isle of Skye just over an hour away. The cottage has it's own garden and patio from where you can enjoy outdoor dining from a wide range of local restuarants see Inverness Delivery and Takeaway (Hidden by Airbnb) page for up to date info. Boxy's Croft is a cosy self contained cottage with breathetaking views from every room and all you could need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The property is accessed via it's own private entrance adjacent to it's own parking space and garden. Downstairs there is a an attractive hall with cosy lounge complete with an open fireplace and a TV (NETFLIX and iplayer), a dining room with an upright piano and a kitchen with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all the equipment you might need for food preparation. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms (king size bed in one room and a double and single bed in the other) and a bathroom with an electric shower and bath. There plenty of books, local maps, childrens toys and DVDs available for your use and wifi is available througout the property. You will sole use of Boxy's Croft and can access the garden in front of the property Our family home is just behind behind Boxy's Croft which means we can offer you privacy whilst also being available to help with any queries you may have and to provide information about the local area tailored to your needs. Drumnadrochit is a picturesque village just 14 miles from Inverness. The village has several cafes, two pubs which serve food, a post office, co-op and two museums devoted to the Loch Ness monster. Inverness has a wealth of facilities including a wonderful arts centre and sports centre. Boxy's Croft is one mile from a bus stop with a regular service to Inverness but please note this involves walking down a steep hill and along a footpath next to a busy road for quarter a mile. We have a very friendly Bernese mountain dog called Skye and a 7yr old son and 10yr old daughter who love to say hi to any young visitors.
