Luxury 5 bed harbour house in Itchenor sleeps 11+

Available for Goodwood FOS & Revival + 7 night stays during Summer 2018. Private & spacious 5 bedroom, 4 bath house overlooking Chichester Harbour, 2 min walk from Itchenor Sailing Club & 5 mins drive to the white sands of West Wittering beach. Recently renovated, the house has a huge open-plan living area opening onto the main terrace, where you can sit out and enjoy views of Chichester Harbour. This is a house for entertaining in, with cooks kitchen, central island, dining for up to 16 and a relaxed spacious feel. The handmade kitchen features a gas range with wok and fish burners, double electric oven, american style fridge, dishwasher, butlers sink, granite and teak work surfaces, fresh herbs and fully stocked pantry. We love to entertain so have plenty of glassware, jugs, plates etc for a crowd! The garden slopes down from the house towards the harbour, with large sun terrace, climbing frame & Spring-free trampoline, BBQ & vegetable patch. The sleeping space is very flexible: Master bedroom - superking bed, walk in wardrobe, en-suite with walk-in shower, sliding doors opening onto terrace and views of harbour Bedroom 2 - large room with triple bunk bed (double bed below & single above), en-suite bathroom with power shower, fitted wardrobes and west facing views of gardens Bedroom 3 - furnished with a double bed, dressing table & wardrobe. Bed 4 - this light and airy room has a double bed, hanging space, cupboards and shower room next door with power shower, & underfloor heating. Bedroom 5 - currently set up as a single room with cot (with enough notice this can either have two single beds or one super king (zip together mattresses)) this spacious room has a changing table, rocking chair & large wardrobe. In addition to the 2 en-suites and separate shower room there is a family bathroom with bath and separate shower. A dedicated playroom off the main living area has masses of toys and games your children are welcome to use. If you are bringing a baby we can provide a cot, changing table, buggy & high chair to save you space in the car, just ask! A boot room and separate utility with washer & dryer, hanging racks and ironing board makes this home easy to live in for active families. Dogs are very welcome but we ask that they are kept out of the bedroom areas which have pale carpets, and if they are muddy they dry out in the dog bed in the warm bootroom first! If you're active we have a range of bikes, a double bike trailer, scooters, skateboards, kite surfer and surfboard that you are welcome to borrow (providing we're not taking them with us). But will always be available on the phone or by text. This highly regarded harbour village is renowned for its sailing and thriving sailing club. The village itself has a local public house and church, and a post office/store can be found nearby in the village of Birdham. A wider range of shops, restaurants and other amenities can be found approximately 2 miles to the south in the village of East Wittering. Itchenor also provides a seasonal ferry which gives access by foot and bicycle to Bosham. Birdham Pool and Chichester Marina are approximately 2 miles distant, as is Chichester Yacht Club. The Blue Flag beaches of West Wittering can be found approximately 4 miles to the south, as well as the National Trust Reserve of East Head. The historic cathedral city of Chichester is within 8 miles and has comprehensive shopping facilities and a wide range of recreational activities, including Pallant House Gallery and the internationally acclaimed Festival Theatre. Goodwood is also a great attraction, hosting the annual Festival of Speed and Revival meetings, together with a full horse racing calendar. There is a bus to Selsey from the village, however the bus to Chichester leaves from a stop approx 1 mile walk from the house. Car or bike are the easiest ways to get around.
