Rustic OLD MILL Stonehouse with private pool

Our unique 300 years old, Stone House-Mill can accommodate up to 4 persons. If you want to experience traditional and authentic way of living in old Montenegro, our house from 18th century and originally renovated with exclusive use of swimming pool in the garden is perfect choice for your holiday. This is one of oldest houses in part of Montenegro which was occupied over 400 years by Ottoman Empire and it represents authentic mixture of this two architect cultures. House was lately renovated with a lot of patience and love. We have succeed to preserve original style not affecting modern comfort requirements, using only natural materials. With lot of authentic furniture, dishes, old weapons (Gun and Turkish sword, knives), money etc. it is one kind of museum itself. House have walls more than 1 meter thick with loopholes almost like small fortress, it is a one of rare places where you don't need air-condition even in middle of summer. There is one bedroom with double bed, bathroom, living room with double sofa bed, kitchen and beautiful balcony with view on city and sea. There are two more terraces outside. House is located on cascade level ground and water from natural spring behind house is guided on top of the house where passing thru stone column to the basement level to power the mill. Mill is still functional, however we are keeping gear disengaged due to noise that makes while it running. Swimming pool is for your exclusive use and it is located in the Garden. Renting our house gives you an excellent opportunity to enjoy entire house and 1500 m2 of garden with private swimming pool(depending from weather but generally from May until October) barbecue and Mediterranean fruits and vegetables all at your disposal. Despite that we are not living in that property (10 minutes away driving) , we are available to our guest at any time, phone call, texting or in person whichever suite you the most. It is ideal for those wishing a quiet base - away from urban noise, traffic jams, crowded coastal towns and tourist hot spots. It is located in authentic, rural setting but at the same time 5-10 minutes driving to Beach and City. With its homey atmosphere, our House is ideal for family or romantic vacations. House is located: 6 km or 10 minutes by car to the center of city Bar (shops, port, marina, ferry, train and bus stations) 6 km or 8 minutes by car to the nearest Beach 50 km or 1 hour by car to International Airport “Podgorica” (TGD-airport code) 64 km or 1h 10m by car to International Airport “Tivat” (TIV-airport code) 28 km or 35 min by car to Virpazar and Skadar Lake. 1.8 km or 3 min by car to 2000 years old olive tree – symbol of Bar city. 2.8 km or 4 min by car to the Hospital. 3.5 km or 5 min by car to the Old city/fortress of Bar. 300m to the nearest shop IDEA (road not for the car) Please note the distances from house to the most of points of interest. If you are renting our House you will need car or taxi. Swimming pool is in use from May until October. Mainly depending on the weather. Small road that continue below the house to the main road is the shortest distance and might be shown as route on GPS, however it is very narrow and it is not for the Cars.
