Get away in our quiet 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage-style house in the hills above Fairfax. Enjoy immediate access to world-class single track mountain biking and hiking trails around Mt. Tam or walk downtown to great restaurants and a vibrant live music scene. Fairfax is ideally situated as the perfect base for access to San Francisco (35 minutes), the Wine Country (45 minutes) and the beaches of West Marin (35 minutes). Enjoy living in the trees with visits from whitetail deer, hawks, wild turkey and the occasional fox. The house is small and best suited for a family of 4. Upstairs is the living area, opening to the fully equipped kitchen with vintage Chambers stove, and one bathroom. There is a spacious patio in front for outdoor dining and relaxing. Downstairs are two bedrooms with comfortable full/double beds, a second bathroom, and access to a deck with beautiful views and cafe table. The house does not have a TV, but it has a piano! There is reliable broadband WiFi. Car deck for one car and some on-street parking. Stairs down to the house.
