Bridge Barn is a brand new conversion, cosy and quirky in beautiful surroundings. An ideal space for a relaxing break. Tucked away in the heart of the village, just a stones throw from The Culm Valley Inn with its beer garden overlooking the river and The Strand Stores, it’s perfectly located with all you need on the doorstep. On the edge of The Blackdown Hills, with loads of picturesque walks and just 10 minutes from the M5. It’s a great base for exploring the beautiful Devon countryside. Equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable relaxing stay. Enter into the living room, with a comfy sofa and armchair, 43” smart tv and a space for your coats and shoes. The fully fitted hand made oak kitchen, includes integrated oven, hob and extractor. Fridge with small freezer compartment, kettle & toaster, along with a breakfast bar to sit and dine. Upstairs is a double bedroom with velux windows and integrated blinds, a wall mounted TV & DVD, and an antique chest of drawers. In the bathroom, there is a large walk in shower, sink, loo and heated towel rail. Towels are provided for guests. WiFi and USB charging points in every room. Outside there is a small courtyard for alfresco dining when the weather allows. We’d be happy to provide a travel cot by request if required, although cot bedding will need to be supplied by the guests. The barn will be solely for your use during your stay. Check in will be contactless, however if there are any issues during your stay, we live just minutes away Culmstock is a great village with an amazing friendly community, a fantastic pub with great food and atmosphere, a brilliant village shop/cafe serving amazing home baked treats, it’s right on the river, has picturesque walks on the doorstep, and is just a short drive to the M5 if you wish to explore further. If you come during the festive season you will also get to witness the epic Christmas lights display throughout the village! The M5 is just 10 minutes drive away, Exeter and Taunton can be reached in around 30 minutes. Tiverton parkway station is a 15 minute drive, if guests wish to travel by train then we will be happy to collect you from the train station by prior arrangement. There is no parking at the actual barn, however the Culm Valley Inn is a short distance away (25metres) and if you intend to use the pub during your stay then I have agreed with the owner that you may use their parking facilities. If you are not pub goers then there is street parking just over the bridge.
