Then this is your home! Welcome to Douro Outside: A house with stunning views of the Douro River with a private pool and a little pool annex for children to play safely. The garden receives plenty of sunshine during the day and outdoor furniture is available for use. A barbecue, which contains: 1 wood oven, 1 charcoal grill, and 1 grill with volcanic rocks, a gas stove and sink with water access. Small outside area with a basketball net. Inside: 4 bedrooms, all with private bathroom and shower, with access to a common balcony, plus one single bedroom also with bathroom. All rooms contain heaters. Two bedrooms preside TVs. 2 common bathrooms, one outside and another inside with bath tub. 2 common areas, both with a fireplace: 1 area with a pool table, darts and a living room with a TV. Kitchen: dishwasher, microwave, stove, electric oven, coffee machine, and small appliances (blender, toaster, etc.) TV. Two fridges and a freezer. Garage with room for 3 cars, and you can park 3 more cars outside on the terrain. Tap water is available and drinkable. House and gardens. You can always contact me for any questions or inquiries. The house is located at a 5kilometer (3 mile) distance from Souselo in a quiet, rural area. In Souselo you can find: a pharmacy, supermarket, bakery, a butcher, a cashpoint (ATM), a coffee shop and a petrol station. This area is ideal to relax and enjoy nature by many of the foot paths surrounded by the unique beauty of the Romanic routes. You can also choose from an array of daily activities, including: - Walking the wooden foot paths in Paiva for those who like indulge themselves with nature and activities right in the centre of the Douro. Caution: you must make a reservation first before you go there. - Termas de S. Vicente – a thermal spa where you can relax in the depths of millenial waters to treat yourself or for pleasure. If you want to go out, but stay closer to home, there is a little patch of fluvial beach at 4 kilometers (or 2.8 miles) walking distance. Enjoy the riches of our local gastronomy where your palate will be indulged by home made dishes with home grown ingredients. These traditional dishes are a unique culinary experience. You can visit gastronomy fairs that are held frequently. Here you can aquire sweets, salts and other traditional products. If you are looking for a night out, head on over to Castelo de Paiva – which is a 20 minute or 12 kilometer (almost 8 mile) car ride away. Castelo de Paiva is home to bars and restaurants with prices lower than you will find in the city centres. For those whose nights out include dancing until the wee hours of the night, there is a disco club called “Autarquia” – which closes her doors at 7am, and hosts various theme nights.
