Perfectly catered to kids with lots of extra's. Equally as enjoyable for small groups of adults. *Enquire today - we book up quickly* The house is spread over two spacious levels, open-plan internal living spaces and a large covered outdoor alfresco area. This allows large groups to spread out and truly enjoy – with a view of the sparkling lake from almost every room. UPSTAIRS Bedroom 1 - Master Retreat (King, or zip-apart singles), ensuite (shower and corner bath), air con, ceiling fan, WIR & balcony with 180 degree lake views, desk and large smart screen TV. Bedroom 2 – Second Master with (King, or zip-apart singles), air con, ceiling fan and large smart TV. Bedroom 3 – Another King bed, or use as zip-apart singles & access to portacot, with ceiling fan. Bedroom 4 - Another King bed, or separated into two singles (we also have another single floor bed available for this room if needed for a 3rd small child), air con and ceiling fan. Generous main bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. DOWNSTAIRS Open plan cooks kitchen - with tea/coffee supplies, Nespresso coffee machine, crockery and cutlery for 10+, plenty of platters, loads of wine glasses, pots, pans and loads of other kitchen necessities to enjoy (incl. basic pantry supplies) Sunroom chaise lounge nook – a comfy chaise lounge and kids breakfast nook - a great spot to enjoy your morning cuppa as the sun rises slowly over the lake. Desk with best view of the house in case you need to juggle work while holidaying. Spacious open-plan dining and lounge room – ripe for entertaining; the dining table seats 8-10 and there are couches/seats for 8-10, plus large screen smart tv. Kids chairs at the ready should you need (1 highchair, 2 junior chairs). Combined small downstairs bathroom/laundry/toilet - with access to washing machine. Easy access to outdoor covered alfresco - with additional dining for 8-10, comfy outdoor lounges, BBQ and grassed area. Fully fenced inground saltwater pool with sunlounges – not heated. Reserve access by gate - communal play area complete with trampoline, rope swing, baby swing, soccer net, basketball hoop and large span of spongy grass to play on. KIDS in your group? Kids are welcomed and well catered for at the Lake Haus! We have two junior chairs, a highchair, portacot, kids crockery, cups and cutlery, plus plenty of indoor toys and games. There is one set of enclosed carpeted stairs. The covered alfresco and house are secured by gates and locked doors to prevent access to the lake but all care must be taken. The pool is fully fenced but we stress that ALL children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times in or near the pool area. The property is in a quaint little neighborhood, an easy 10 mins drive off the M1 Doyalson Link Rd Exit – just 1.5 hours from Sydney. It’s the perfect quiet waterside location to relax with the whole family. Our property backs onto gorgeous Lake Macquarie - bring or hire a boat and enjoy all that this saltwater lake has to offer. Kingfisher Shores is otherwise an easy drive to lots of nearby attractions; beaches, parks, bushwalking tracks, cafes and restaurants. Or make the most of our idyllic location and just sit back and soak up the serenity. ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES The access codes to gain entry to the premises will be made available the day of check-in once all ID has been received. Our usual check-in time is 3pm but we may be able to offer you an early check-in upon request if no guests are checking out before you. We cannot guarantee a late or early check out until 7 days before your stay. Check out is strictly 11am. Late checkouts holding up our cleaner will be charged to the guest at an hourly rate of $50. NOISE No noise between 9:00pm to 8:00am. The property is located within a very quiet residential area with close neighbors who live there permanently. STRICTLY NO PARTIES of any kind. Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and unacceptable 24/7. ‘Noise’ means any sound that can be heard from neighboring properties that disturbs their peace and quiet. DAMAGES Guests are responsible for all damages to the premises or, loss of or damage to any items in the premises. Please notify us immediately should any breakages, damage or loss occur during your stay. GUEST NUMBERS Our property is most suitable for a maximum of 6 adults, plus up to 3 children/infants. The person making the booking must stay in the property and will be held responsible for the conduct of all guests. Exceeding maximum numbers or having different numbers than stipulated will render the guest liable to cancellation of the booking immediately. We ask that you provide full names and ID of all guests staying at the property who are over 16 at the time of confirmation. COVID precautions - the house will be sanitised thoroughly between guests, including professional hot wash of all linen and cleaning of all common touchpoints, bathroom supplies/bottles and regularly used pantry items. The coffee, tea and sugar cannisters will also be emptied and freshly supplied for each guest. GUESTS - We do ask that until further notice to manage the risk of possible COVID transmission to the cleaners, owners and other guests, that guests do not invite any additional guests onto the property during their stay. Only guests ID provided and confirmed at the time of booking should be in the property at any time. SMOKING Smoking anywhere on the property is not permitted. An additional cleaning cost of $50 minimum will be charged to guests who do so. PETS Unfortunately we cannot allow pets due to allergies – should you be found to have brought a pet to the property without permission, you will be liable to pay for additional cleaning and fumigation fees (subject to cleaners quote). RUBBISH At the end of your stay, please place all rubbish in the wheelie bins provided. The Red Bin is for general rubbish. The Yellow Bin is for mixed recycling. No excess rubbish should be left on the property. PROVISIONS Basics like salt, pepper, instant coffee, tea bags and oil are available. The coffee machine takes Nespresso-compatible pods, we’ll leave a handful to start you off. We’ll also pop some long life milk in the fridge so you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as soon as you arrive. Toilet paper, handwash, bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, paper towel, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, washing liquid supply left for your use. Sheets, towels and tea towels are provided and professionally laundered between stays. (Pool/beach towels BYO). BBQ A fabulous 4-burner BBQ is available for alfresco cooking – we ask that guests clean it thoroughly after use, otherwise our cleaner will need to add an additional cost of $50 to take care of it for you. LOCAL FOOD We’d suggest grabbing some groceries on your way in at the local Woolworths – once you arrive you won’t want to leave! But it is just a 5 min drive if you do need to replenish. There are a few of our favourite suggested dining-out venue’s listed in the property guide at the house, should you fancy eating out during your stay. PERSONAL PROPERTY The owner accepts no responsibility for personal property left on the premises. SECURITY Please note: the property is protected by external security camera’s to help keep the property and guests safe. Any footage recorded will be destroyed after a period of 30 days.
