Queen size, timber bed with quality linen and cotton bedding and latex pillows. New ensuite with plenty of hot water for your showers. Coffee machine, toaster, microwave, single induction cooker plate, kettle and bar fridge. Uht milk, teas, coffee pods and bags, Nutella, strawberry jam, sugar and miso soup provided. Consider bringing a few groceries such as bread and butter. 2-seater, leather lounge, coffee table and pouffe. Oil heater. Bus stop opposite. Murdoch train station nearby. Ceiling fans. The space stays cool due to solar-passive design and double glazing. Lots of natural light. Is part of a working, sewing studio (Tues-Thurs during school terms). The studio is semi-detached, on a split level adjoining the host's home. It adjoins the stairwell to the main house, with a deadlocked door. *Some incidental family noise may be heard as the building is attached. I am quite often away over the weekends so may not be able to greet the lovely guests, in person. Come and go freely with seperate, front access. Parking is available on the left of the driveway, as well as street parking in front. The cutting table may be used as a dining table. The office nook may also be utilised. Large mirror for dressing. Household noise may be heard throughout the day from the house above, as our family live in the adjoining house. I am quite often away near or far but will be available by phone to attend to your needs. I may text you or knock on the door to check if you're comfortable. We live in a modest neighbourhood ie. it is not a tourist destination in itself. We provide a peaceful base for your day's activities by car, and to return to for rest and a good shower. There is a well-appointed, new Woolworths supermarket, liquor store, pharmacy, newsagent, post office, butcher, doctor and library very nearby. Also, nearby on South Street, in Kardinya, there is a travel agent, beautician, shoe repairer, Japanese, kebab shop, Coles supermarket and Kmart. There are also a couple of banks, including Commonwealth Bank & ANZ. The 512 and 513 (6 mins walk) and 115 buses are very close. These connect readily with the train to the city or Mandurah. Bus route maps are available at train stations and on the buses themselves. We have two timetables in the folder awaiting you. This said, a car is still the most convenient form of transport in Perth, with the large distances to be covered. If certain groceries are desired for your arrival, please request and I'll see what I can do to accommodate you. You may wish to pre-plan for your breakfast, such as bringing bread, butter or cereal. Bibra Lake nearby is good for recreation and exercising.
