Granary Cottage is a 4 star self catering cottage on a farm only 2.5 miles from Llandrindod Wells. Set in glorious Mid Wales countryside with stunning views, peace, quiet and wonderful walking from the door. Light and stylish inside. Well equipped kitchen, dining area and upstairs sitting room with views. Free WiFi, dogs welcome. Llandrindod Wells is a Victorian Spa Town, 13 acre lake, supermarkets and individual shops. Short break rates shown, weekly discount. Certified Covid Good to Go. Granary Cottage is a converted Granary with exposed beams and other original features, situated in a pretty and quiet courtyard. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm, a map is provided. Owners Margot and Anthony are happy to help guests plan their days out. There is plenty of information about the area in the cottage to make sure guests get the most of their stay. This part of Mid Wales is in the old county of Radnorshire. A countryside of rolling hills, small farms and quiet market towns. Great walking and photography. The Elan Valley with its spectacular dams is a must see. There you can hire bicycles, walk or drive around this scenic area. Guests can visit The Red Kite Centre, Abbey Cwm Hir Hall, fish on the River Wye and its tributaries, go horse riding or just sit and relax at some good eating places and pubs. Llandrindod Wells is a Victorian Spa town with a lake and gardens. It is home to the National Cycle Museum. There are two large supermarkets, a good butchers and good food shop. Llandrindod Station is 3 miles from the cottage. Guests can be collected from the station by prior arrangement. When at the cottage, guests would need to arrange taxis if they wish to travel or go into town. It is possible to walk into the town but it is a quite a challenging climb on the way back! There is a small terrace area directly outside the cottage which catches the morning sun and is a great place for that morning cup of coffee. Guests also have a private area of garden with garden furniture and views of the hills. There is plenty of parking directly outside the door.
