Welcome to our spacious 3 bedroom bungalow, the perfect location if you have business in the area or are on holiday and want to explore this beautiful part of South Wales. Conveniently situated North of Bridgend, offering quick and easy access to M4 Junction 36 our place offers a peaceful environment in which to work or relax. To the rear of the property is a sunny south facing patio stepping down to a fenced lawn that’s ideal for children, on a clear day you have distant views of Somerset. Our bungalow is located in a quiet residential area, close to some lovely walks and cycle paths. For your shopping requirements there are several major supermarkets in and around Bridgend and for those times you may prefer not to cook, some great takeaways that provide a delivery service. The bungalow offers a good size lounge with TV, DVD player and a selection of movies for you to enjoy in the living room plus a TV in each of the bedrooms and the breakfast room. The well equipped kitchen adjoins a light and airy south facing breakfast room with patio doors leading on to a sunny patio area and fenced lawn. The modern bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle. For our taller guests we offer the option of a sumptuous super king bed or two long single beds. (The super king is a zip link) Our other bedrooms have a double bed and a single bed respectively. Bed linen and towels are provided and as a welcome you will find tea, coffee sugar and milk on your arrival. The modern kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, dinner service, glasses etc. There is a fridge, freezer, oven, hob and microwave, washing machine, Ironing board and iron, a rotary clothes line on the lower patio area. The whole property is warm and cosy. There is off road parking for 3 vehicles. We live locally in Penyfai, just a 10 minute drive away and will be available to meet you on arrival. Should you need to contact us for any reason us during your stay, we shall give you our mobile number and be pleased to help. Recent lifting of some restrictions means that Wales is open to visitors again and whilst it’s not going to be the quite same as before, there is still a lot to see and do. Pack up a picnic and visit somewhere different every day! Brynmenyn is conveniently located with easy access to Junction 36 M4 from where you can take the motorway to Cardiff or Swansea and beyond. For a more scenic trip, enjoy a ride up through valley communities and over the Bwlch and Rhigos mountains heading to the Brecon Beacons for a fantastic day out. More locally, take a little time to shop for bargains at the McArthur Glen Designer outlet and maybe check out what’s happening in and around Bridgend. Just a short walk from our bungalow is Bryngarw Country Park, well worth a visit. For those who enjoy walking or cycling, there is an extensive cycle network available, a lot of it off road and so very safe, bring your bike and enjoy the local scenery. Fabulous rocky beaches along the Heritage Coast are just waiting for you to explore and Porthcawl, with its beautiful sandy bays is just a few miles away. The local bus stop is not far away and we have a train station nearby in Tondu. There are some lovely walks to enjoy and we're close to the local network of walking and cycling trails, if you would like to take advantage of them, there is a website available to help you plan your journey. If you are staying for more than a week, we shall be popping around to cut the grass and put the waste out, but will contact you beforehand.
