The Residence 03 - University area

The Residence is located within the upmarket Hamlet of Kappara, which is ideally located just 5 minutes away from the University of Malta, The Medical School & The Life Science Center. We converted our family home in a comfortable place where visitors can feel at home after a long day visiting the islands, we live in the lower part of the villa which is a separate area. The top part of the villa is fully accessible to the guest My Parents Rosanne and Herbert live in the villa below, and will be more then happy to assist where needed. The Residence is located within the upmarket Hamlet of Kappara, which is ideally located just 5 minutes away from the University of Malta, The Medical School & The Life Science Centre. Other facilities which are within 10 minutes walking distance are the National Pool, Gymnasium, Tennis and squash courts. The Residence is also very close to the town centre of San Gwann, where all the necessary commodities can be found for the day to day needs, Supermarket (LIDL), Pharmacy’s, Post office, Police station, Banks (HSBC / BOV / BANIF) Butchers, Green Grocer, eccetera. Once again the maximum walking distance is 10 minutes. Other popular localities reachable by walk are the islands main shopping center of Sliema 3km away and the famous nightlife hub in Paceville - St Julian’s 4km, Both locations are easily accessible through public transport since the University and the General Hospital have the second largest bus terminus on the island, thus most destination are easily accessible with one bus ride. In fact the residence is recommended for anyone wanting to have comfortable accommodation with peaceful, quiet surroundings while being able to reach any place on the island with ease. Traffic in Malta is quite heavy, so even if you are planning a short trip, you need to think well in advanced, for this reason if you need to commute on a daily basis, its ideal that you choose a place close to your destination. nevertheless the public transport will literally take you everywhere on the island, but you'll need to plan in advanced, we will be more then happy to help you plan your trip.
