Apartment close to Bath & Bradford on Avon.

New, modern space that lets in the sun! Great location for Bath and local countryside. This is a self-contained 'guest wing' as an annex to our own home with one double bedroom (kingsize bed), open plan sitting room and dining area, bathroom 'wet room', full kitchen and balcony overlooking the garden. You have your own private entrance with lockbox for the key but we are just next door if you need to ask us any advice or need to borrow any further amenities. There is a a large sitting area with bi-fold doors onto the garden so if the weather is not warm enough to sit out you can enjoy the view from the armchair. A smart TV will give you access to Netflix etc. You will have the annex to yourself and can wander around the garden if you would like to, although you do have your own balcony with a table and chairs on which to sit out. There is a keylock for guests who arrive when we are not there to greet them. We may be around the house or in the garden. We will try and leave you in peace but certainly welcome a chat if you come and find us or just need information about the accommodation or the area. We are in a village close to Bath (6 miles) and to Bradford on Avon (1.5 miles). There is a local pub (The Seven Stars), farm shop (Hartley Farm) and a small convenience store and post office all within walking distance. We are close to the Kennet and Avon canal for walks and cycle rides. You can cycle into Bath (8 miles along the canal) or further afield. The bus stop is outside the gate and runs to Bath every half an hour. The nearest railway station is in Avoncliff or Bradford on Avon. These trains can take you to local attractions in Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Salisbury or even directly to London! If you are bringing your car you willl need a different postcode from ours to direct you to the door. I will let you have this when you have booked. There is plenty of free parking on the roadside beside the gate. The sofa bed is in the sitting room space and there are skylights overhead - do bring an eyemask if you are a light sleeper as the morning light may wake you. Please don't ask for separate beds if there are two of you and you are booking for just one night - it's a lot of bed linen to wash for a single night's booking! If you need to use the tumble dryer, please ask as it is in our utility, not the apartment itself. You can use the washing line to hang out any washing or there is an airer if you want to hang up small items to dry. Please note that the kitchen has an induction hob so won't work with aluminium coffee makers! Please also note that the wifi is variable in strength and may sometimes dip at certain times of the day. The water into the house is softened. Do let me know if this will be a problem for you and I will provide bottled water.
