Privacy and seculsion is guaranteed. Exclusive accommodation for two. You will be the only guests on a property of 40 acres of rolling pastures and woodland. Approach through impressive wrought iron gates, past a typical Provencal fountain and gravel courtyard. The barrel terracotta tiled roof, stuccoed walls, authentic French shutters and elaborate ironwork on the double entry doors convey the atmosphere of the Mediterranean. Casa Valeri is very spacious - a large, open living area (featuring a massive French limestone fireplace, large oak dining table and dazzling kitchen), separate bedroom with balcony, large bathroom with free standing bath and separate powder room. The keynote of the bedroom is uncluttered elegance. Imported fabrics and restrained Provencal colour combinations add to an atmosphere that is both sumptuous and restful. King size bed, and French doors to a private balcony overlooking the perfumed garden add to the graceful air of the room. The design flows from luxurious interior to garden relaxation - covered verandah overlooking lawns and lavender, beautifully structured garden with nooks and corners, overlooked only by the mountains across the valley, and the forested slopes of Mount Victoria behind. The property adjoins the State Forest giving easy access to forest walks with spectacular views over the most dramatic stretch of the Yarra Valley. Despite the feeling of seclusion, Casa Valeri is only 700 metres from the centre of Warburton - a largely unspoiled historic township, with many curiosities and beautiful walking trails beside the Yarra River, and up into the mountains. Not suitable for children over 12 months. Sorry, no pets allowed. Directions Warburton is 75 km east of Melbourne. Take the Warburton Highway from Lilydale. After the village of Millgrove, drive 3 km to Warburton. Cross the Yarra River at the second bridge (after the row of shops). Brett Road is facing you, running up the hill.
