The Manor House is part of a complex of houses and accommodation that formed the estate of The Cleve, a historic country Gentleman's house built in 1864 by the renowned local Fox family. Steeped in this local history, The Manor House is self contained with four en-suite bedrooms (the master suite has a wonderful roll top bathtub), and it enjoys incredible views across the Somerset countryside, many period features and spacious living accommodation. The Manor House has a private garden with jacuzzi. We very much welcome dogs so do book to bring your four-legged friend with you! A few steps away is the Garden Coffee House & Bistro (open 9am to 9pm daily) with all welcome, and an adult-only spa with gym and indoor swimming pool (minimum age of 16 years applies). Access to these shared spa facilities is included with your stay. Sounds perfect already! Well there’s more! Devon and Somerset is packed with things to do: Golf courses galore, cycle paths, moorland walks, local National Trust houses, kayaking, watersports, climbing, shopping, dining, nights out and lots more. Easy access to the North and South coasts – visit the beautiful beaches of Lyme Bay, Exmouth, Sidmouth and Saunton Sands. Close proximity to historic towns and cities – Taunton, Exeter, Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol. A short drive to open moorland – the famous Blackdown Hills, the Quantocks, Exmoor, Dartmoor. Crealy Adventure Park is just down the road and a little further is The River Dart Country Park, both fun days out with the kids. And don’t forget the Devon Steam Railways!
