From the moment you arrive at this elegant country home you will feel a sense of peace, tranquility, and gracious living. Situated on the quiet side of Mount Tamborine, tucked into the end of a leafy culdesac, this home is framed by a beautiful canopy garden, an inground pool and outdoor entertaining area to be awed at. All on 5 glorious lush private quiet acres. This is a unique home, with beautiful polished hardwood floors, high ceilings, spacious naturally lit rooms and picturesque rolling hillside views from every window. Including a generous view onto the Great Dividing Range. The kitchen is the chef and entertainers heaven, with an abundance of space to work on, storage and quality throughout. Fully equipped with Juicer, blender, nescafe machine, etc. There are multiple entertaining areas, inside and outside, offering voluminous uncrowded relaxation areas. The main indoor vast open plan living space has a grand slow combustion fireplace and there is also ducted air conditioning. The piece-de-resistance (if there is just one) behind a solid hardwood door is the wonderful incomparable master suite, almost a home in itself. Located away from the other bedrooms this suite offers a large bedroom with stunning views of the property and ensuite, dressing room, sitting/living room, ... the honey-mooners suite, ... every night, and a King Sized bed, Three large bedrooms, each with a King Sized bed also, are located at the opposite end of the home, all with direct access to a wonderful deck overlooking the saltwater pool, spa and entertaining space, not to mention the gorgeous private grounds and green serene outlook. Also, the oversized well equipped laundry. Escape the hustle and bustle, experience this wonderful lifestyle location just an hour from Brisbane and 45 mins to the best beaches. 10 mins drive to all local services, cafe precinct, medical etc. The perfect destination on Tamborine Mt for a family, or a small group of good friends, a pieds a terre-in-Australia, If you are intending to have a function, please note the following few points, max 7 car spaces inside property, parking on the street is not encouraged, because the street is a one way cul de sac, and it would really annoy my neighbours, also the property is not available for live bands parties, amplified music or noisy gatherings, it is called Tranquility Lodge for a good reason. Minimum number of nights is 2, in the case that you would like to hold a special event with more than 8 to 10 guests in total, pls make your booking for 4 nights minimum, thanking you for your understanding, The house, the pool area, the laundry, Please note that their is a small cabin at the rear of property about 150m away from the main residence, the property maintenance person lives in there, but will not disturb you while guests are in the property. The garage is not included. This is a very quiet neighbourhood. No Public transport on Tamborine Mt that I know of. Parking on site is realistically limited to 7 cars, parking on the street is not a possibility as the street is rather narrow, plenty of dining out possibilities, Dear future Guests, Please do read the following message it is important, Of late, for reasons beyond my comprehension, guest have shown a substantial lack of respect for my neighbours quiet enjoyment of their homes, For the past few guests, complaints from neighbours have been lodged with airbnb, with myself directly and with Council Authorities, In one case, police had to be involved, a really embarrassing situation, As per AirBnB and my own policies as displayed on the description page for this property, NO PARTIES ALLOWED !!! The property is named “ Tranquility Lodge “, for obvious reasons, it is a quiet neighbourhood, my neighbours have a “Sacro-Sanct” right to quiet enjoyment, which I defend, So, if your intended use of the property is for a loud music and /or late party, I kindly request that you cancel your booking, Kind regards, Daniel
