Wind in the Willows - Willow Suite

Come enjoy the beauty of upstate New York in our quaint village of Jefferson. Relax in the setting of the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Stay in our 1890's country home and explore our area that's famous for maple syrup, dairy farms, beautiful views and recreation. Our newly renovated Willow Suite, is our most spacious of all of our spaces with 2 separate bedrooms with barn door entrances (made with reclaimed wood). You'll love the double vanity in the suites bathroom. The larger bedroom has a king size bed, comfy sofa, custom made island with seating and a kitchenette. The second bedroom has a queen size bed complete with comfy chairs to sit and relax with your morning coffee. Choose to relax and slow down on our front porch or side garden. Have a stroll down the back of our property along our 'beaver pond path,' where our pond meets a small, quiet brook. We always enjoy greeting and welcoming our guests and showing them to their rooms. However, there are times when we are unable to greet, meet and welcome. When and if that ever happens we will communicate with our guests in advance and give and/or leave instructions to your room complete with keys to make your arrival as pleasant and easy as possible. Visit the Breakfast Club just a short stroll from us and enjoy breakfast or lunch, open everyday between 7 am - 2 pm. Or enjoy breakfast at a local sap house, weekends only from 8 am - 1 pm. Take a stroll through our quaint town and have dinner or drink at our local restaurant. We have several other suggestions for great places to eat that are not that far from us. Just ask us! On Saturday mornings, from 9 am to noon, is a seasonal local Farmers Market in the center of town (May - October), with farm to table items; handmade items,- such as soaps; cutting boards & baked goods to name a few! We can provide the phone number of a taxi service if you are in need of one during your stay. We have plenty of parking on our property.
