After having to cancel my last few bookings 3 years ago due to a change in circumstance, our popular apartment is available again. It's a characterful spacious bright and sunny apartment above a fantastic delicatessen on Woburn Sands High Street. Easy access to M1 juction 13 or 14 and 10 minutes from Milton Keynes and the Open University. 5 Minutes drive to historic Woburn Abbey and Woburn Golf Course. 10 - 15 minutes to Bletchley Park. 15 minutes to Center Parcs and 30 minutes to Luton Airport. 2 double bedrooms (on the second floor) plus a futon in the living room downstairs. Free wifi throughout. Large kitchen and dining room with electric halogen cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Newly refurbished bathroom with fabulous walk-in Grohe shower. Dining space to seat 4 - 6. Very spacious and bright living room. Please note, there are STEEP STAIRS up to the apartment entrance, and from the main living space up to the top floor, where the bedrooms are located. There is a futon / sofabed in the living room which sleeps 1 very comfortably and 2 quite snugly. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The heating is electric - there are wall heaters in the living spaces and freestanding heaters in the bedrooms. There is a heated towel rail in the bathroom. You have the whole apartment to yourselves with a private front door. I am available at all times as we live very close by. Woburn Sands is a beautiful village on the Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire borders with many pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and great countryside to explore. Woburn Abbey is easily accessible, as is the Stables Theatre in Wavendon (both 5 minutes drive or taxi ride). Milton Keynes bowl is a 15 minute taxi ride away. Ideal for Open University visitors. Center Parcs is around a 15 minute drive away so perfect for a stay the night before your holiday. Luton Airport is around a 30 minute drive. Harry Potter studio tour is around 40 minutes away. Taxis are readily available, as are buses to Milton Keynes. Woburn Sands train station to either Bletchley (with connections on to Milton Keynes or to London) or Bedford within 10 minutes walk. Train times from Bletchley and Milton Keynes to London from 35 minutes. Please note that access to the apartment is via a private stairway which is VERY STEEP. We are on hand to help with luggage but there are quite a few steps up to the front door (please see photo). As detailed above, there are also stairs up to the bedrooms from the living / kitchen area, which are steep.
