Comfortable accommodation in the city-center of Saint Louis, new and neat, with bathroom and garden with terrace. No kitchen but there is enough to prepare a breakfast or warm up already cooked meals (microwave, toaster, nespresso coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge and dishes). 4km from city center Basel, 12 min walking to Saint-Louis train station. This suite is located in the half basement of a family home that has its separate access. The apartment has a private entrance and is entirely separated from our part of the house. You’ll have a nice and clean private bathroom. There is no kitchen available but some basic equipment like microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, plates, knives/forks/spoons etc. If you need to be dropped at the airport, access to the baby seat and travel bed or other things, please let us know so we can make arrangements. Fast WiFi-Internet: 53 Mbps We speak fluently English, French, German. There is always someone available during your stay. There are various restaurants (French, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Kebab etc.), supermarket (Mon-Sat 7am-10pm, Sun 9am-1.30pm), banks, post office all within 5min walking distance. 12 min walking to Saint-Louis train station and tram 3 (to Bâle city center) 10 min walking to bus station (access to Basel center) 2min walk to Forum congress in Saint Louis. < 2 km to the Swiss border and to Novartis Campus, <5km to Mulhouse-Basel international airport. <4km to National Nature Reserve of La Petite Camargue, 1,2 km to park des Eaux vives, 6km to Basel Zoo. Free public parking places around. Detailed directions: From the airport: Take the bus shuttle to Saint-Louis train station. Continue the way described under "From Saint-Louis train station". From Saint-Louis train station: Take Rue de la Gare, turn right into Rue de Mulhouse (220m), turn left on Rue des Acacias (500m), turn right on Rue Vauban. From Basel: By tram: Take tram line 11 to the French border, cross it and walk straight along Avenue de Bâle until turning right on Rue de Huningue, turn left on Rue Vauban. About 1.8km in total. By Bus: Take the blue Distribus 604 from the city center in Basel "Schifflände" in and get off at "Carrefour Central". Take Rue du Temple or Rue de Huningue and turn the left on Rue Vauban. For air travelers from EuroAirport we can eventually (by arrangement) take you to the airport by car. Please note the following house rules before your departure: - The premises must be left clean and tidy. Put the used laundry (towels, bed linen, dish towels) in the provided laundry basket. The dishes & cutlery must be washed. If these rules are not followed we will charge an additional fee of 30.- Euro. - The accommodation must be aired out at least 30 minutes per day. - After taking a shower the bathroom must be aired out every time. - It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the accommodation, regardless what kind (electronic cigarette, shisha, cigarettes, pipe etc...). In case of non-compliance with this rule, we will charge an additional fee of 150.- Euro for the necessary cleaning. - An inventory list of the accommodation will be given to you at your reception and will be checked at your departure. In the event of any damage, the cost of repair or replacement will be discussed with you and covered. - We kindly ask you to inform us of any damage before leaving the premises in order to ensure the safety and functioning of all equipment for future guests.
