Arrive, relax, and take a deep breath at our tiny house. Enjoy your own lavish garden and the beautyful countryside of the Hunsrueck. Our house features a cozy bedroom, a bright, friendly bathroom with a shower, and a living room including a snack galley on 23 sqm. It is suitable for two adults and one child up to 12 years (add €10 per night). A special feature is the wood fired "barrel sauna", which will likely be available at €10 per use from August, 2020 (towels included). The wooden cabin is newly build and furnished in a bright, friendly fashion. A modern wood pellet oven has been installed for heating. The newly laid out garden around the cabin, which is enclosed by a quarry stone wall, is at your exclusive disposal. There is a parking spot for your car on the property, wireless internet, satellite TV, a furnished terrace right in front of the cabin and a barbecue grill. Our family, with 2 kids, two dogs, two cats and a bunch of chicken has been living in the area for many years. We are looking forward to hosting guests starting in June, 2020! The village of Oberkirn , situated in a valley between the mountain ranges of the Soonwald to the East, and the Idarwald to the West, is an entirely residential place with about 320 inhabitants. Grocery shops and facilities are located about 4 km away in the village of Rhaunen. Right around Oberkirn are plenty of scenic walks, e.g. up or down the Kyrbach valley. Well maintained and signposted hiking trails called "Traumschleifen" let you explore the diverse landscape and nature of the Hunsrueck area. Also well within range are the beautiful and world famous Rhine and Moselle valleys with their magnificent castles, the national park "Saar-Hunsrueck" with the Erbeskopf peak popular with MTB bikers and skiers, the "city of gems" Idar-Oberstein with its rich geological features, the Geierlay suspended bridge, and many more attractions. Finally, the cities of Trier, Koblenz, Mainz and Frankfurt are within reach (approx. 1 hour by car). The tiny house is only 13 km away from the Airport of Frankfurt-Hahn! Reasonably well-behaved dogs are welcome (max. 2 due to the tiny size of the house). We want you to enjoy your time with us without having to worry about everyday necessities. Therefore the cabin is equipped with towels, linen, soap, shampoo, dish washing liquid etc, and a continental breakfast (honey, jam, butter, toast, cereals, milk, coffee and tea) is included.
