The Butchers Arms Bunkhouse and Bike Hire

The Butchers Arms is located in the Stunning Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales and boasts a superb location that is close to many local attractions. The pub has a separate restaurant area, an 18 bed bunkhouse, and a bar area. We are also an outdoor activity provider offering canoeing, bushcraft, Mountain Biking, kayaking, gorge walking, abseiling, and other outdoor adventures. We are AALA licensed. Canoeing is offered on the local reservoir and longer expeditions on the River Wye. We are located just a few hundred metres from Pontsticill Reservoir and the Brecon Mountain Railway. The rooms are clean, basic mixed dorm style with bedding and a towel provided. We have 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 2 sink units solely for bunkhouse use. Everything is new and very clean. If you are interested in outdoor adventures we offer single day outdoor activities or longer multi-day residential adventures. We have a small car park at the front of the premises that is usually empty after the pub closes so overnight parking for guests is not a problem. We are here every day and enjoy speaking with our guests that visit from all over. We are in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park with many outdoor adventures awaiting our guests. We are an AALA licensed outdoor adventures provider. Adventures can be single activities or multi-activity days. No alcohol is allowed to be taken into the bunkhouse. We are not insured for alcohol consumed in the bunkhouse and any guests breaking this rule will be asked to leave immediately.
