But we can offer you a spacious, family friendly holiday apartment in an ancient farmhouse with 2 bedrooms and a living room. Own kitchen and bathroom with shower and bathtub. Ideal for families with children and groups of up to 4 adults. We live in the house ourselves and have two little boys. Our house is located on a former farm just above the village in a quiet quarter. Surrounded by green meadows and yet close to the city of Lucerne. Housing equipment: - 2 double rooms - living room with dining table and sofa - small terrace seating for 2 persons - kitchen with cooker, oven and microwave. - refrigerator - coffee machine (capsules) and kettle for tea preparation - bathroom with shower and bathtub - free WLAN - shared use of washing machine and dryer possible - 2 travel beds for children up to 3 years old - 2 high chairs for children - Baby Changing station Large outdoor car park, also suitable for mobile homes. The bus stop of line 25 is located directly in front of the house. From there, the village centre of Meggen is less than 5 minutes away, and the city of Lucerne can be reached every half hour in about 20 minutes. Near our house is the Meggerwald forest, which offers the possibility for relaxing walks and barbecues for a pleasant picnic. Also in the vicinity (approx. 5min by car) is the lake which invites you to swim or linger. Private bathroom with shower and bathtub, access via shared staircase. It is possible to use our washing machine and tumble dryer on request. An iron and ironing board is also available. For beautiful days, an uncovered garden seat for 4 persons is available by arrangement. We live in the house and are happy to take the time to answer your questions. In the immediate neighbourhood of our house there is a beautiful, public children's playground. The numerous shopping facilities in the village can be reached in 10 minutes on foot or half-hourly by bus. Bus line 25 to Meggen or Lucerne every half hour The apartment is located in an older farmhouse. The house was completely renovated 30 years ago, but most of the holiday apartment is still in its original condition. Attention: Smoking is not allowed in the house and on the balcony.
