Villa Taddei - near and away

Villa Taddei is a beautiful house built in the seventies by my uncle as a second house where to spend relaxing time away from the bustle of the city of Rome. My uncle, who was a veterinary loved nature and this was the perfect place to enjoy his cats and dogs and to work at his garden and plot and enjoy . The garden is huge and it's full of fruit trees: apricots, peaches, plums in summer, pears, apple and lots of oranges and lemons in winter! It really spreads peace and quietness. Villa Taddei is peaceful inside too with its walls totally white, a bright light and a pleasant natural atmosphere. There are 3 double rooms and an extra funny bed under a wall arch in the living room. Other extra beds can also be requested. There are also three bathrooms and a solar shower outside in the garden. There is the place to park up to 4 cars inside the property and the Villa has the automatic garden door and the camara at the door bell. Outside in the garden you have two porches and a stone barbecue and all you need to stay comfortable outdoor, including bikes for your trips. We are close to the coast (4 km) in the southern part of the province of Rome, at the beginning of the Pontine and close to the Castelli Romani. In these parts, it is a little 'history and a bit' legend, Aeneas landed, precisely in Lavinio, today also called Lido di Enea. The location of the villa, which makes it advisable but not essential to have a car, is an excellent base for your visit to Rome, with the advantage of accommodation in the open countryside away from the chaos and congestion and pollution big city. To get to Rome we suggest you arrive by car to EUR, important and interesting suburb south of the city, and then take the metro. In particular, you should take in the vicinity of the villa Via Laurentina and hence the Pontina (SS 148) which continues as Via Cristoforo Colombo in Eur, where there are several metro line B metro (Laurentina, Eur Fermi - most recommended - Eur Palasport, Eur Magliana) and where you can easily park. The total distance by car is about 30 km with a travel time of 20-25 minutes. Another solution is to reach by car or train from Santa Palomba-Pomezia or to Campoleone both about 15 minutes away and from there take the train to Rome Termini (website hidden). The Fiumicino airport is about 40 '. In addition Nearby Rome there are many things of interest and amusement.
