Cottage to enjoy nature and quiet

In a nice small and quiet hamlet perched on the mountain above the Loire valley, surrounded by woods, the cottage offers accommodation for 5 people. The cottage is called "La Meille", which means "the nap" in dialect. It is situated in a small hamlet perched on a mountain, surrounded by woods. The cottage is independant, but we live the house behind. The cottage can accomodate up to 5 people. It has a large and bright living room with a kitchen corner, a wooden stove, TV, and a convertible sofa for 2 people. Upstairs is a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a bathroom with shower, separated toilets, and a washing machine. There is also a nice sunny terrasse, with a beautifull view on the nature and the valley. With a sunshade and garden furniture. Independant house you can park in front of the house internet. tourist information, guides, maps in the house bed and bathroom linen furnished With a little price supplement, we can provide breakfast food and drinks (even though there is always tea and coffee in the cottage) As we live close by, we are here most of the time, to welcome you, give tips, answer questions or have a coffee... We have been renting the cottage for 4 years now, and we love having people in. Some people come every year and we even built friendships. We like to share the treasures and tips of the region. Perched on the mountain above the village of Chamalières sur Loire, the hamlet of La Fayolle counts twenty houses. It is surrounded by woods, even though there is a nice view on the Loire valley. The village is quiet, and the neighborhood is nice. The Haute-Loire is a great place to walk or bike. Many marked itineraries cross the area, and even the village. The beautiful town of Le Puy en Velay is 35 km away. We highly recommend a car, as we are far from villages (4km the closest to get bread, then 10km for more...) That is also what makes the charm of it! In July and August, we only rent the cottage for a week, with arrival on the saturday. The price is not the same either. In general, arrivals are from 4.00pm, and departure not after 11.00pm, but this is mainly in summer. We are very flexible on it, depending on departure and arrivals.
