Electric gate opens to beautiful acreage. 12 minutes to Calistoga or Santa Rosa. High quality, and comfortable bedding. Sleep to the sound of running water. Watch nature outside your wall of windows. Large space- 900 sq ft with kitchen area, Keurig with K cups or coffee maker, BBQ, and your own washer/dryer! We'll give you a code to the electric gate and key box. Easy access for self check in, or to come and go. We provide an electronic Guidebook and tons of brochures so you can plan your stay. Enjoy the entire south facing unit which has a wall of windows to a private meadow. All windows have wooden privacy blinds, but don't worry, you can't see any neighbors, only nature! We've seen deer and grey squirrels (daily), rabbits, red tailed foxes, raccoons, and other critters. It's so quiet that you'll sleep like a rock. In the winter, the creek creates lively water sounds right outside your windows. But year round we have a waterfall and fountain for pleasing water sounds. We are close to many wedding venues and Uber works here. Free WiFi and Direct TV provide modern convenience in a quiet, natural location. The entire downstairs is for your use including the outside. This includes a picnic table in the meadow, or a beautiful deck with comfy chairs and a table. This is a great place to sit and sip! We added a BBQ specifically for the Airbnb., and you have your own designated modern, washer and dryer. You're not going to want to leave!! We are available if you want information about the area, wine or beer tasting recommendations. We put together a guide book of restaurants, wineries and fun ideas. This guidebook is available electronically and is attached to this website. It shows pictures, maps and is interactive to specific websites. We also have a hard copy of the guide book, brochures and magazines for you to browse when you get here. We'd be happy to pop a cork or sip a beer with you, or leave you entirely alone. If you need anything just let us know. We’ll leave you the location and hours if you’d like to visit our family's brewery in Windsor- Barrel Brother’s Brewery. (Tom loves to share our Barrel Brothers beer!) Most importantly, have fun! Wedding Venues nearby: French Oak Ranch 8 minutes, Hans Faden Winery 7 minutes, SSS Ranch 10 minutes. Both Uber and Lift work here! This is Sonoma/Napa Counties so it's a relaxed Wine Country atmosphere. (We are one mile from the Napa county line.) Jeans or casual dress will take you everywhere in the winter, shorts in the summer. There are many upscale restaurants and you may need nicer clothing for those at night. Just let us know if you have any specific questions. We are in the heart of Wine Country so all wineries are less than 30 minutes away. You'll need a car to get around. Calistoga or Santa Rosa are both 12 minutes away. But it's a winding, scenic mountain road, so it's not acceptable to walk on! UBER and Lift both come here if you don't want to drive. You might want to stop for groceries before you arrive. There isn't any shopping in the forest! The good news is that there's a Safeway or CalMart 15 minutes away in either direction. There's a hot plate, a convection microwave, toaster oven and BBQ. You have all the dishes, glassware, silverware, knives, cutting boards, wine opener and everything you’ll need. There's a refrigerator/freezer, and both a Mr. Coffee or Keurig coffee makers - (it takes regular k-cups and we provide quite a few.)
