This fresh, sunny & clean modern studio with private ensuite bathroom is a perfect little escape. The city is at your doorstep- handy to lots of public transport & just 13 minutes by train to city centre/ downtown. Short 2 min stroll to St Luke’s shopping mall, Eden Park; easy walk to bars & restaurants of Kingsland. Close to Mt Albert Grammar, Auckland Zoo, MOTAT, Western Springs, Eden Park Private covered patio, free WIFI, comfy King bed, fresh bed linen, serene garden views & privacy! Clean & comfortable garden studio surrounded by mature trees, with very easy access to the city and local tourist sites. The room is set up predominantly as a bedroom plus has a private, cosy outdoor seating area to enjoy a coffee and listen to the birds in the garden. Or enjoy a glass of wine and a soak in the hot tub whilst watching the stars at night The bed is a super comfy king with foam topper and always fresh, high thread count linens- plus a selection of pillows. Bed is fitted with toasty electric blanket with dual controls, and blackout blinds ensure a nice dark room for jet-lag sufferers. Gas hot water shower with good water pressure and a small sink, toilet and mirror cabinet in small but perfectly formed private ensuite. Key security-box for flexi-arrival times. 24-hour access through separate entrance. Snack size cooking facilities: Microwave, Fridge, Jug, Toaster, Nespresso machine & crockery perfect for preparing breakfast or a sandwich and even reheating food or making a drink but there’s no cooking facilities/oven or hob for cooking a meal. Off street parking available for up to three cars, on street parking available. Garage storage space available for sports equipment, luggage etc. Hot tub Private outdoor seating area Separate access through side gate on property TV, medium-sized fridge, microwave, electric jug, toaster, electric blanket, basic crockery, Nespresso machine Iron, ironing board, heaters, fan and A/C unit Host will take away dirty dishes etc and replace with clean ones daily/as required. Access to washing machine & dryer in garage + clothesline as requested No access to main house unless otherwise negotiated. Off street parking available Depends on my workload :) I will not be present during most of guests stay- but will check in daily to ensure everything is OK- usually by text/SMS or in person if appropriate. Sandringham is known for being at the heart of things! Centrally located in Auckland with easy access to CBD (15 mins by car, bus or train) and only 20 minutes’ drive to Airport. Walking distance to Eden Park and bars, cafes, restaurants in trendy Kingsland & Morningside. Close to Auckland Zoo, Western Springs, Motat (3.6km) and fashion shopping destination, Ponsonby Road (4.0km) An easy walk to Westfield St. Luke’s shopping centre (>1km) is just 2 mins walk from my place, features Countdown Supermarket, banks, Events Cinema, Kmart and many other stores Also close by is Auckland's "Chinatown" in Balmoral (2.4km) which boasts the famous Barilla Dumpling restaurant and some of the best noodle houses in NZ! Don't miss your workout, there are a number of gyms within walking distance. Rugby fans, there is no parking around Eden Park. But it’s an easy (flat) 15 minutes’ walk from my house to the main gate; pick up a coffee or fish and chips on your way to the game or back. We are serviced by a great bus route into the city and two train stations a short walk away. 13 min train ride into CBD, plus a bus stop at the end of my street. The 'Hop On, Hop Off' Auckland bus tour stops very nearby (>1km) Trains & buses run pretty regularly and usually on time to most parts of Auckland from here. For something different, download the app and grab a Lime Scooter for a fun way to see the city. There are airport shuttles available from local companies and Uber (Including Uber Eats), and Ola work well here. I have a very friendly 11 year old Golden Labrador dog called Annie. She loves a pat and a chat but knows she is not allowed into the Studio (she sheds too much hair!) She comes to work with me most days.
