Artsy Neighbourhood near HKU and MTR
This 380 sqft flat offers an ideal combination of location and comfort to help you make the most of your stay in Hong Kong. Located on one of Hong Kong's hippest streets full of designer cafes, creative agencies and boutiques, the flat itself is a quiet retreat with beautiful, soft natural light throughout the day. It has a modern bathroom and fully equipped kitchen including washing machine, and the second room is set up as an at-home office. The design-driven space is located on a quiet side-street in one of Hong Kong's most up-and-coming neighbourhoods. For a relaxing and hopefully inspiring stay, the apartment features all the comforts of home, including: -Comfortable double bed with high thread-count linens -My personally curated guide+map to the neighbourhood, plus guidebooks for larger Hong Kong -Coffee, tea and a fully stocked kitchen -All toiletries provided, plus excellent water pressure in the shower -Air conditioning and Wi-Fi -Washing machine and an outdoor laundry line -Lots of design books and magazines for inspired reading -Beautiful, soft natural light throughout the day and a quiet, tree-filled view from the breakfast table -Supermarkets, wet markets and many, many places to eat and drink from morning coffee to late-night drinks within immediate periphery If you're staying in my apartment, it's because I'm away traveling. However, I'll leave you a full list of recommendations to make the most of your stay and am available via text for any other questions you may have. Shek Tong Tsui, and particularly Po Tuck Street, have really come into their own in the last few years. When I first moved in, it was all automobile repair shops and furniture-building workshops, which now blissfully coexist alongside hip cafes, boutiques and watering holes. In this way, a stay on Po Tuck Street offers a microcosm of life in contemporary Hong Kong. A pleasant 10-minute walk in either direction will get you to the fully gentrified areas of either Sai Ying Pun to the east or Kennedy Town in the west, both worthy destinations for a fun night out. You also have Hong Kong's beloved Morning Trail at your doorstep for the most rewarding morning runs, and a 5 minute downhill, just under the sci-fi-esque fly-over, will reward you with a wonderful waterfront vista from one of Hong Kong's best kept secrets: (Hidden by Airbnb) Pier. The HKU MTR station is an easy 5-minute walk, or there is a full range of buses nearby for swift access to Aberdeen and Hong Kong Island's Southside. For the airport, I recommend bus A10 or A12. From my neighbourhood, it heads directly to the airport and is a pleasant 30-minute journey. The apartment is a third-floor walk-up, though well worth the extra effort. Please note that reservations involving a pet will be approved on a case-by-case basis and require additional deposit.
