Our handcrafted Shepherds hut is located within 4 acres of private and secluded gardens on a small holding in West Wales on the border of Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire. Conveniently located for many beautiful beaches and the foothills of the Preseli mountains, with the stunning Pembrokeshire coastal path starting just 10 miles away at Pendine. Whether your visit is purely for relaxation or your looking for outdoor adventure our luxurious hut will provide the perfect sanctuary. All your needs are catered for with a welcome basket on arrival for bookings of three nights or more, quality bed linen & towels and traditionally woven “Melin Tregwynt” soft furnishings, from a local Welsh woollen mill. Outside is a newly appointed wood fired hot tub to sit in and enjoy a drink (or three) as you watch the sun go down or from your outdoor seating area and perhaps some alfresco dining with the supplied fire pit/barbecue. Coals, kindling and logs are available to purchase at the farm along with a selection of local produce and other essentials. Once you’ve parked your car, access is a short walk through the garden. Wellingtons or country boots are recommended as the walk takes you through an open grassed area. Available in the farm house or by phone or email The hut is set on a 39 acre small holding and the only neighbours are the cows grazing in the open fields. There are open ponds within the gardens and therefore not suitable for small children. There is No public transport and a vehicle is recommended to explore the local area. Please feel free to bring your own bicycles, we can provide secure storage at no extra cost. On your arrival at the hut you will be greeted with a complimentary welcome basket for bookings of three or more nights which contains all you need after a long journey. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk the fridge for your arrival and a bottle of fizz and some snacks for a three night stay or longer. We have tried to ensure your complete reassurance of supplying a brand new wrapped toilet roll, you very own cleaning sponge and hand sanitizer. There is a Shepherds Store on the farm which stocks eggs, crisps, soft drinks and something a little stronger if you fancy! We can happily provide breakfast baskets, celebration cakes and other homemade treats from the farm kitchen. For special occasions we will endeavour to cater for your needs.
