An entire cottage, just for couples, Trestrail Cottage is a private and unique B & B nestled on 100 acres of natural stringy bark bush land in the Clare Valley. It is located in the Mid North home to SA's finest cellar doors and gourmet producers. You’ll love our retreat because it's a place to unplug from the daily routines, demands and ties. To reacquaint yourselves with each other and the joys of idle life,to discover wildflowers, wildlife, views and dams. The cottage has 3 rooms - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/dining/lounge. It is an intimate space, perfect for couples enjoying time together. Through the Winter season you'll have access to our amazingly unique hot rock sauna room and bush rain shower- it's really something special to experience. The cosy wood fire heats the whole cottage. Through the Summer time, you may like to sleep in comfort under the stars in the outdoor bug free deck to feel the warm night air as you rest. The views over the valleys and contours are spectacular from the treetop perspective at the cottage and surrounding high points. It's perfect serenity. The whole 100acres, 2 hills & 1 lovely valley, is yours to explore, walk and sit. Pack a picnic, walk the tracks, skim rocks in the dam and discover the old orchard. Roos and bird life is usually abundant, not forgetting the Monarch butterflies through the Summer. I am NOT on site. I am more than happy to offer advice or assistance when needed and I'm only a phone call away. You are staying on 100 acres of private land and the cottage is the only residence on the property. True seclusion, peace and quite. Trestrail Cottage sleeps maximum of 2 people. This is a true Aussie bush experience. Gorgeous views of the valleys, Stringy bark woodlands, birds and roos visiting frequently. Yet, you're not far from wineries such as Skillogallee, Mitchell's, and Jeanerette's, 8kms from Clare township, and 5kms from the well known Riesling Bike Trail. Please note that long weekends require a minimum 3 night stay. There is no public transport nearby but Taxi's and Clare Valley Tours operate out of Clare if you need guidance. It's usually a case of meandering around the valley by car, by foot or by bike. Trestrail is designed for you to explore and reconnect with the natural environment. Trestrail is a self catering 1 bedroom cottage for two people only. A romantic retreat with no one to disturb you. We discourage technology and provide a blissful place to unplug and remember what it feels like to be hidden away.
