The Green Room

The Green Room A light and airy house in a relatively new estate with train station and a variety of shops only 5 minutes walk away. Perth city is 30 mins by train. Fremantle and Mandurah are approx 50 min by train and bus. Rockingham foreshore is approx 20 mins by train and bus. I look forward to greeting people from all walks of life and cultures sharing stories and ideas and assisting you in having a great holiday. The Green Room has a double size bed, drawers and wardrobe. A ceiling fan to keep you cool in summer and an electric blanket to keep you toasty in winter (a heater is also available if needed). I also have another room 'The Blue Room' which has a queen size bed and can be booked on this site. You will be sharing the bathroom/toilet if both rooms are booked at the same time Bedrooms have their own door locks. There are 13 steps up from the footpath to my front garden. If this is an issue I can organise to let you in through the back gate from a laneway, no stairs, but only if I am home to give access. Parking is on the street in front of the house and is free. You have full access to the lounge, dining, kitchen and laundry. Please keep these areas clean and tidy. There is a sitting area outside in the front yard, this is lovely on summer evenings and an outside dining area in the alfresco that is lovely in winter during the day. You have access to the BBQ. There is a small vege garden and you are welcome to use the produce just don't strip the garden clean. Basic food stuffs, salt, pepper, oils, vinegar and herbs from my pantry can also be used just let me know when you use the last of them. There is all day tea coffee and filtered water. I can be as sociable or as private as you would like. I am in and out the house during the day and will return phone calls promptly if unanswered. I am always available if you have any questions. Wellard is a relatively new estate with a number of parks and bush walks easily accessible from the house. Shops to serve your basic needs (food, health and Newsagency) are next to the train station. A larger shopping centre, Kwinana Marketplace, is located a 10 min bus ride away. There is a tavern, The Well, located at the train station. Wellard train station is 5 mins walk away. Busses also leave from there to Kwinana Marketplace where connecting busses can take you to Rockingham or Fremantle. Fiona Stanley Hospital and Sir John of God Hospital are a 20 min train ride away. I live a 10 minute drive from the Freeway which is the main transit route north and south of Perth city. As I try to live a healthy lifestyle I am happy to accommodated guests with allergies/intolerances/ special diets (this may incur extra cost) . I rarely use chemicals in the house using essential oils for cleaning. I will endeavour to have the foods/chemicals you react to removed from the house for your stay. This may not be completely possible as other guests may be staying at the same time.
