Country House at Balaton - An Island of Peace

In Örvényes (the smallest village of Balaton) is a house in farmhouse style available for you to rent. The house can accommodate up to 14 people. The local beach can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. The house is fully furnished and provides guests with full comfort and relaxation. It is located on the bank of a small creek and the location is very calm and intimate. The excursion possibilities, beaches, and cool locations are numerous and really good. This is a private accommodation. According to the mayor of Örvényes, ours is the most beautiful house in the village. With us you will find peace and intimacy in a typical Hungarian traditional country-house style. The house is located on a dead end and right next to a small creek. Children are looking forward to the numerous playing possibilities in the village while adults are happy to let it go and relax while their kids have fun. At least that is what our guests feed back to us. Guests book the entire house and can bring up to 14 guests. The neighbouring land also belongs to us and the yards behind the house are also empty. So your peace and privacy are both secured and protected. Daniel, Eszter, and Bori speak excellent English, German and Hungarian, and are available for you through any telecommunication channels for any questions at any time. Before your arrival, Daniel will personally contact you to clarify any remaining questions. During the stay, there is a consistent contact with Daniel, of course, only to the extent you require. There are barely any neighbours around. The one couple is a nice and quiet family of 3. Örvényes and the surrounding area are fantastic! The house is located at the "gate" of the Káli-Area, full of hiking opportunities, authentic small villages, and beautiful sights. Daniel sends each guest a detailed description of the house, the village, the must-see locations, beaches, shops, mineral water fountains, recreational facilities, and more. You will not be bored! The bike path around Lake Balaton runs right thru Örvényes. You can park 3 to 4 cars in front of the house comfortably and free. Örvényes is also accessible by train or by bus from both directions (Balatonfüred, Tapolca). Every second hour a train goes to Budapest, which is a 2-hour ride. The house is just a 5-minute walk from the stops. There is also a small local grocery store available. The beach is close and free-of-charge (rebuilding is in progress), but there are 6 or more beaches available within a 5 to 10 minute ride. The newly re-opened local beach is free-of-charge and is open around the clock. It has all the necessary facilities and services one needs at a beach. In the immediate vicinity (5-10 min by car) there are numerous other beaches available for you: Sajkod, Tihany, Balatonfüred, Balatonudvari, Fövenyes, Balatonakali, Zánka, etc. Our children love Örvényes. Surely yours will have a great time too. The house provides everyone with the comfort they need. The garden is ideal and large enough for kids, who can also make their own ways witin the village freely and safely. The closely located church bell rings three times a day, at 6 am, 12 o'clock and at 8 pm. You barely hear it, especially if windows are closed. Elderly people only need to climb 5 stairs to the house, which is the only challenge. However, they can easily avoid that by walking along the house on both sides where there are no stairs. The house and the garden are on the same level with no further steps or thresholds. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom, bathroom, dining room, living room available for more seniour guests.
