We will welcome you in a typical farmhouse of the early twentieth century, in the countryside between the hills and vineyards of Monferrato, in a sunny position, finely restored with particular care in preserving historical details. The restructuring took place recently, between 2017 and 2018, so this is the first season of tourist hospitality. The farmhouse consists of two apartments of around 90 square meters each. The extremely comfortable "Letizia" apartment, located on the second floor, is partially sloping and complete with every comfort: large bathroom with shower and washing machine, two large bedrooms (one double and one with three single beds) and a kitchen equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer; to complete it all, a very livable terrace, with a view of the green slopes that surround the structure. The farmhouse also has a brand new swimming pool reserved exclusively for guests of the two lodgings. For our little customers, in the lawn in front of the building there is a children's area with swing, slide and little house. Wifi internet connection guaranteed. Possibility of external barbecue. Possibility of baby bed and high chair. The Veritas farmhouse specializes exclusively in bed and wine. The owner Gabriele Pestarino, continuing the family tradition, for the past 20 years, is passionately dedicated to the cultivation of his own vineyards and consequently to the production of native wines. The love for his territory has led him to restore this ancient farmhouse, to accommodate those who want to spend a holiday of tranquility, relaxation and contact with nature, tasting, if they like, the products of his land. The farm "Veritas" is located on the edge of the Capanne di Marcarolo Natural Park, an ideal destination for exciting excursions on foot, on horseback and by mountain bike, which covers an area of approximately 8,000 hectares, on the border between Piedmont and Liguria, in the area dominated by Mount Tobbio. A few kilometers away are the Lavagnina Lakes, surrounded by pretty ponds where, during the summer season, it is possible to cool off with a nice bath. For those who love shopping, about 20 km away, in the municipality of Serravalle Scrivia, the fantastic "Mc Arthur Glen Designer Outlet" is easily reached, where you can find, at affordable prices, the most prestigious international clothing brands. In the immediate surroundings, there are pretty towns, like Gavi, known for the Fort, a spectacular fortress with a defensive function built on the ruins of a medieval castle; and Acqui Terme, a thermal center famous for the remains of the Roman aqueduct and for the sulphurous spring located in the so-called Piazza della Bollente, in the historic center of the city. About half an hour by car, from the Ovada exit to the A26 motorway, you reach the city of Genoa, an ancient maritime republic and today a crucial hub for maritime trade, and the most famous towns on the western Ligurian Riviera. In this regard, in the charming town of Varazze, a cabin reserved exclusively for guests and dedicated discounts are available at a seaside resort. A little over an hour, by car and by train, you can reach the cities of Turin, with its refined architecture, and Milan, the capital of fashion and design.
