Courthouse Barn @ Courthouse Farm Muchelney

Set at the end of a no through lane Courthouse Barn (attached to Courthouse Farm) is a self contained barn conversion in the quiet village of Muchelney. With views of the Church it is in easy walking distance of The Abbey, Church and The Almonry barn wedding venue. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking ,we also provide the essentials of tea ,coffee,milk and snacks. Due to covid we would now request 2 night minimum stay Check-in time 3pm and check-out 12pm we try to be flexible if needed. Guests are advised that the bathroom has a macerator and the sound of the pump can be heard in use. Only toilet paper can be disposed of in this toilet. Damage to the macerator through disposal of sanitary products and other items will incur a charge for repair or replacement. Close to Langport which offers a supermarket, coffee shops and eateries. Somerton, Curry Rival, Drayton, Wells, Street, Glastonbury are a short drive away. Should you wish for a breakfast pack we will be happy to provide this for a small charge. Muchelney is a very quiet village with some interesting links to the Abbey which is an English Heritage site. There are no pubs in Muchelney but there are a number within 10-15 minutes by car. Bus service is available from Langport although the service is very restricted. There is free parking in Langport should you wish to use a bus. Taxis are available locally.
