Banksie's Studio The studio is attached to the main house and sits on 3.2 hectares 30 minutes inland from Byron Bay. Designed by its architect owner, it is perfectly positioned on a north-west-facing ridge that affords it a panoramic view over the hinterland. Continental breakfast is provided with house made bush orange marmalade and passionfruit jam. With frontage to the Yankee Creek and billabong, Banksie's Studio is surrounded by gardens of citrus, avocado trees and passionfruit vines. The studio has a separate bedroom with queen size bed and a sofa bed for two in the main room. The kitchen has a small fridge, Nespresso machine,toaster and a small oven. Guests have access to the paddock, through which Yankee Creek runs. There is an abundance of birdlife and a family of echidnas as well as the odd wallaby and some very shy platypus. Banksie's Studio is situated in the Byron Bay hinterland, perfectly located to explore the many village markets, national parks and eclectic eateries scattered throughout. You will need a car to.make the most of your stay in the hinterland. Dinner is available on request at extra cost. We can also provide a car service to and from Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads and Ballina....fee upon request.
