Stay In Paternoster is a small rental company that rents out our Beach house. It is run by Marina who will gladly assist in any inquiry you might have. She is also the one you will pick up the key from. Like everywhere in South Africa there is also opportunistic crime in Paternoster. The crime, which targets small high value items like wallets, cell phones, ipads, laptops, GPS, cameras and binoculars, is generally not violent and often compromises the following: 1. Criminals gain entry to the premises though doors and windows that are left unlocked, or within arm's reach of an open window. 2. Locked cars with visible valuables may be subject to breaks ins. Take valuables into the house or lock in your boot. So please when you are not in the house lock all windows and doors. I am not writing this to scare you away from this beautiful fishing village, just use common sense and safeguarding, then your stay will be without any incidents and worries. To get to Paternoster there is no public transportation. The closet big town is Vredenburg (15KM) which you will drive through to get to Paternoster. In Vredenburg there is everything you need. From grocery shopping, mall, Gas station, Banks. Check In times: Monday - Thursday between 2-5Pm Friday & Saturday between 2-7pm Sunday 2-5pm Upon arrival, please pickup the key at stay in Paternoster office. Upon Departure please drop key in the key deposit hole at the same office.
