Caton is a base from which to visit historic Lancaster, the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and Trough of Bowland. With 3 pubs, village Co-op shop and other local amenities in the village, the apartment is an ideal location for walking, cycling and exploring the beautiful Lune valley countryside. We have designed a light and bright contemporary social space. Ideal for groups of friends or families. The property consists of a large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom (and room for z-bed or cot), two additional twin/double bedrooms , and family shower room. The contemporary open living space offers ample room for socialising with modern kitchen, double bed-settees and large dining area. The semi-enclosed lawned garden has plenty of room and seating areas to enjoy the surroundings and tranquil stream. We are very welcoming of both pets and children. There is a large private car park with ample parking for several vehicles and room for other larger vehicles. We live next door so are generally around to welcome guests and make them feel at ease. Guests are given our phone numbers before and for the duration of the stay. There are 3 pubs, 5 churches, a shop, garage, doctors, pharmacy and a Take-away. The apartment is located in the village of Caton which offers traditional village pubs, Co-op, pharmacy, vets, and garage. There is a lovely path along the converted disused railway which drifts by the Lune into Lancaster - perfect for walking or cycling. Just a few miles by car or bus to historic Lancaster or traditional seaside at Morecambe, and a short drive to South Lakes. Within easy reach of the South Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, and Forest of Bowland, the apartment is the perfect base to explore the beautiful North West.
