Quiet Room(s) (1/3) on bus route to CERN/Geneva

We live in a quiet little village, 3 min walk from the bus stop, with a direct bus route (68) to the CERN and tram line (18) to Geneva Centre, and the local French bus line. 15 mins drive to the airport. The house has views of the Jura mountains and is within minutes of countryside and forest walks. We speak English, French, German and Portuguese. The spacious room has a large double bed (160 cms), a desk and chair and some wardrobe space. The bathroom, with a bath and shower and hairdryer is shared with other guests. A second toilet is available downstairs just inside the front door. Please note that the kitchen is NOT available to guests but guests do have access to tea and coffee making facilities. Fresh bread, pastries and sandwiches can be bought at the local bakery a five minute walk away. Those staying for longer periods can use the microwave and washing machine. Our home is where we work and relax. Please keep this in mind during your stay. Bus routes and times to and from Geneva can be accessed on the tpg.ch website. Our bus stop is Sergy-centre. There is one restaurant in our village - Rita et Albert - which is not open on Mondays. A number of restaurants can be found in St Genis which is on the way to our village. The Val Thoiry shopping centre with a range of shops and restaurants is a 6 minute drive or a 9 minute bus ride (Thoiry-centre-comm.) away. David mainly works from home and Pearl is available from mid-afternoon. We live in a quiet little village at the foot of the Jura mountains. Village bakery (boulangerie) is less than 5 min walk. Bus stop (3 min walk) to CERN (16 min ride) and Geneva tram (nr 18) . Geneva Airport is 15 min drive from home or 15 min from CERN with public transport. Within 5 min walk you can be on a safe path in the country and if the weather is good you can see Mont Blanc and the Alps to the right and the Jura Mountains (10 min walk) to the left.
