Tawleat is a beautiful 3 double BR thatched cottage in the village of Sticklepath, within Dartmoor National Park. It has been recently refurbished to a high standard but retains the charm of an old country house. There is a large formal self enclosed rear garden, and a meadow to the rear of the property accessed by crossing a foot bridge over the river Taw. This land is for your use only. Access to the moor is through the field, and the house is within 50 m of the village pubs and shop. 3 double bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with 2 single beds each. One bathroom with loo upstairs, downstairs loo with a separate shower in the laundry You can park outside the house, but fold your mirror back, or across the road next to Oak Tree Park I have caretakers in the village if required. I live elsewhere Quaint Olde English village on the northern edge of Dartmoor. Far from the hustle and bustle of city life but close enough to a large town, Okehampton for all basic amenities. Pub and shop less than 50m from house. You can get her by car or train to Okehamptopn as the village shop will meet most of your need. will need a car to get here and shop in Okehampton but from the house there are many delightful walks through woodland and over the moor. You can park a small car at the back of the house but it will spoil the view of the garden. However, you can park outside the property (tuck in the wing mirror exposed to oncoming traffic) and the road perpendicular to the house.
