Fűzfa Apartman in Tobruk (1-8 persons) + Free WiFi

My place is close to: public transport, beach, shops. This is why you will like my place: it is cosy, it has a perfect location and it is quiet. My place is suitable for: couples, lone travellers, families (with children), groups. For personal offers, please do not hesitate to contact me via an Airbnb message! (Before you book, please read the House Rules at the end of the listing!) The accommodation I offer you is located in Balatonfűzfő, a small town on the northern coast of Lake Balaton. It is the first level of a family house with a separate entrance and own balcony. From its windows, you can see a small bit of Lake Balaton, the area is quiet and the beach is close. There are 7 beds in the house: in the 1st bedroom, there is a king bed and two single beds, in the 2nd bedroom, there are two single beds and in the 3rd bedroom - which is also the living room - there are two single beds. The house can thus be suitable for up to 8 people. Guests can use all the rooms in the part of the house offered to them (the kitchen, the bathroom/toilet, the 2 bedrooms and the living room/3rd bedroom) and all the fixtures and furniture in them (e.g. cutlery, plates, cooking tools, oven, microwave oven, fridge, etc.), except for the ones that have things (clothes and other things) in them. There are also some wardrobes and drawers for guests' clothes. Moreover, I provide guests with fresh bed linen and towels. However, there is a ground floor and a second floor of the house in which my son (Lajcsi) and I live and where guests are not allowed to enter. Me or my granddaugther, Bódi Lilla, will be present at guests' arrival and leave. One of us will show you around and answer any questions that may arise. In addition, as I live on the ground floor of the house, I will gladly help personnally if any problem occurs. The apartment is in the "Tobruk" part of Balatonfűzfő. This small resort town mainly focuses on holiday visitors during the summer season. But WHY should you choose Balatonfűzfő as a holiday destination? It has 2 BEACHES on each end of the town. The one closer to the flat is famous for providing facilities for three generations (grandparents, parents, kids). The other one was renovated 2 years ago so it looks perfect and its buffets offer traditional Hungarian “beach dishes”. The one I would recommend is Szirén büfé (Mermaid Buffet) which offers the best “lángos” (the traditional Hungarian deep-fried flat bread dough) on the northern coast. Moreover, there is a slide on this beach. You cannot pay by credit card at the beaches, only cash, but there is an ATM in the Fűzfőgyártelep part of Balatonfűzfő. There is also an INDOOR SWIMMING POOL at Fűzfőgyártelep, which was built in 1982 and still operates perfectly. Sometimes, Hungary’s official water-polo team comes and practices there. There are two pools: a 50-meter long, 2-meter deep and a 25-meter long, 80-130-centimeter deep. The bigger one is 27°C, the smaller one is 32°C. Opposite the swimming pool, the BALATONIBOB LEISURE PARK can be found with various facilities such as bobsleighing, wall-climbing, archery, paintball, having fun in the adventure park, etc. There is a 200-kilometre long BICYCLE ROAD around Lake Balaton (named "Balaton körút"), which is only a few minutes away from the flat. Towns around the lake are connected via this road so one does not necessarily have to take public transport or use their car but they can simply jump on their bike. For the more courageous, it is also possible to take a full tour around the lake. A half tour is also possible if you take the ferry from Tihany to Szántód. We also have an OBSERVATORY and an EXIT GAME place. A visit to Veszprém, the "City of Queens" can also be organised with bikes as there is another bicycle road that leads there. This city is only 20 kilometres from Balatonfűzfő. Balatonfűzfő is close the various touristic places around Lake Balaton such as Balatonfüred (30 minutes by car, 45 by train or bus), Tihany (40 minutes by car), Balatonalmádi (5 minutes by car), Tapolca (50 minutes by car), Keszthely (1 hour 15 minutes by car). The closest bus station is about a 5-7-minute walk away from the house from where you can get to Balatonalmádi (and other northern coast cities and towns), Veszprém and Fűzfőgyártelep. Buses from and to Budapest and Balatonfüred stop at the farther bus station (10-12 minutes away by walk). The railway station is a 20-minute walk away through our brand new promenade. But it can also be achieved by a change of buses at Fűzfőgyártelep. TOURIST TAX The prices in the listing of the apartment INCLUDE the tourist tax of 450 HUF/person/night so you do not have to pay extra for that. However, because of government regulations, we have to ask for the personal data of all guests (name, address, date and place of birth, ID/passport number). If you would like an extra fast check-in, please send all these data to us in advance. (All guests will have to fill out/sign the forms.) SHOPPING Considering shopping, I would recommend either the small shop about a 5-minute walk away from the house, the Penny Market (a supermarket) or the Aldi (supermarket) in Balatonalmádi, the neighbouring city. PARKING Parking is possible on the street of the house and we also have a parking place in the garden. (To see a picture of it, take a look at the pictures of the house.)
